  1. ... but there's no extra nutrients?
  2. You don't have any Extra Nutrients in your sausage? EDIT: Also, Vintage sausage is Aged sausage, but cooked. The word 'Vintage' in this game also implies to me that it's really high-end.
  3. I've considered adding bread crumbs to the salad recipe, so I might do that in the next release. Croutons aren't quite the same, though. That being said... I could add croutons. Flour + Food Oil + Salt. I don't know what you mean about sausage not giving enough protein. It gives a ton of protein. In fact, something is wrong with Cryorus's sausage, it should be way better than that, there should be 510 extra nutrients, not 340. I'll need to look at it on the back end
  4. Is cured meat bacon? I've been thinking of it like beef jerky or something. And thanks for the recipe suggestions! I've never made them before so efficiency tips are appreciated.
  5. Did you CTRL + right click?
  6. Because you already cure sausage on the meat rack. Dumplings makes sense, though.
  7. All the meals that were already in the game are still default. You need meat in 2 slots to make meat stew. You need veggies in 2 slots to make veggie stew. You need water, vegetable juice, or bone broth to make soups. All I have done is add to them.
  8. You're not putting meat into your meat stew? Dude, the handbook is talking about in addition to what you can already use to make meat stews. Meat stews are a vanilla meal. You need meat in 2 slots in order to make meat stews. You're taking the handbook too literally in some points and not at all in others. Try experimenting in creative mode for a few minutes.
  9. You're putting one slice of meat into a meat stew and wondering why it's not working? There's your problem. Try two, that's just how meat stews work.
  10. The guide already has a mixer section. And a regular cooking pot section. The salad is in the cooking pot section with the rest of the meals because it is a meal, and its entry already explicitly states that you have to mix it in the mixing bowl. I can add the same text to the Advanced Cuisine guide but that would be redundant. EDIT: By the way, you can totally remove liquids from the mixing bowl, try right clicking.
  11. The cooking pot. Like normal. The salad requires the mixing bowl AND a cooking pot.
  12. Salad is the only thing that needs a cooking pot, because it is a meal. Everything else is just a regular item. The water thing is totally an issue, though. EDIT: I've edited the handbook to make it more clear that salads are the only thing that require a cooking pot.
  13. Now that I think about it, what do you want to be able to use cured meat for? Sausage, pemmican, and dumplings wouldn't make sense, so that just leaves fried food.
  14. That's odd. Can you share a screenshot? It shouldn't be this difficult.
  15. Not being able to take liquids out of the mixing bowl is really annoying. I can look into making cured meat versions of smashed/meat nuggets. Are you inserting a cooking pot when making salad?
  16. Seasonal mobs to me implies migration patterns, too. That would be something neat to see.
  17. It certainly made me push the update out faster. Normally I'd wait until I had more changes. EDIT: Yeah, that wasn't on purpose. I'll look into it later.
  18. Updated to 1.3.5! Bone broth nutrition reduced, healing increased Sap leak time doubled Screwpress no longer crashes when clicking it with an item that cannot be pressed Bucket saucepan duplication bug fixed
  19. This is a pretty basic suggestion. 4 slots works for most animals right now, but it would really make sense for animals to drop a larger variety of items, such as organs, horns or different kinds of bones (including skulls and teeth!). You could have organs be good in food or for different kinds of medicine, have lots of crafting recipes that utilize different bone sizes, and just generally have more creative space to work with when it comes to looting creatures. This would also help modded creatures - Things From Elsewhere has to have goat horns replace bones because there's just not enough inventory space, for example. This is tangentially related, but I think it'd be cool if you could pick up animal carcasses and transport them around.
  20. I really want combat to deal more damage (on all sides), so firearms had better ANNIHILATE anything I land a shot on. I'm talking one-shotting corrupt drifters here.
  21. #1 has been fixed, thanks to Jake. #2 should not be happening in 1.3.4 and I cannot replicate it. All the oil looks fine in barrels. #3 is just how the pot works. That's not something I'm going to change. #4 I haven't been able to replicate either. What foods were having this issue? #5 I was able to... sort of replicate. I spawned a birch tree in creative and stuck a spile into it and a saucepan underneath it and fast-forwarded to January. At first, it said I had a liter of birch sap in the pan but the sap was invisible, then I picked it up and the saucepan registered as 'empty'. Once I removed it and placed a new pan down, it worked fine... although it seems to be gathering sap much quicker than the last time I tested it. Yeah, it makes a bit more sense that you have to get juice out of the berries before you can make new liquids with them. I do wish there was a way to make it so that if you seal berry juice for 14 days you get wine, but for 28 days you get vinegar. Unfortunately, one of those recipes overrides the other, so you have to seal wine back up to make vinegar. Sorry.
  22. What kind of issues does More Roads give?
  23. I'm 99% sure that's just how grid recipes in this game work.
  24. You can only add syrup to porridge, fried food, and baked goods.
  25. Updated to 1.3.4! Saucepan revamped - now capable of turning liquids into solids, and vice versa Bone broth added - can be used in stews Fried veggies added - can be added to salads as optional veggies Fruit juice turns into wine, which can be sealed into a barrel to make vinegar or used in meat stews Mixing bowl can be locked with CTRL + Shift Vinegar is now 0.25 liters per portion instead of 1 Daisies are visible in salads and give proper nutrition boosts Fried/cooked meat is actually visible in salads (oops!)! Liquids rot properly Bottles & liquids given item descriptions
