Posting this story by the recommendation of @williams_482 Wrath of the Cabinet God I was recently on a server with a couple of friends and was excited to play around with the new cabinets being introduced in 1.22. I had made one to show to my friends and had gathered them in our smithy to display this feat of technology. To herald in our new-found wealth, I proudly state "Behold, your new god!" while placing the cabinet which was immediately followed by both of my friends games crashing. While initially one might think this a simple bug, twas the wrath of the cabinet god who had deemed us not worthy. We quickly appeased the deity by putting gears and gems in said cabinet and made burnt offerings. Let this be a warning to all those who do not respect the one most veneered! They are not kind!

I have similar specs and I have had similar issues. Wondering if it's something with AMD CPUs? I have noticed that, though I still have stutters, it noticeably less with a vanilla game than with mods so something to do with RAM? I am by no means a computer scientist/programmer so not sure how accurate that could be. Definitely will follow the thread in case someone has found a solution!

Hey y'all, I've recently been playing on a server with a couple of friends, and it seems we've come across a bug with cupboards in the new update. I was excited to experiment and play around with the cabinets and had made one to show to my friends. I gather them and said, "Behold! While initially quite funny, I can imagine this could be annoying on other servers if this issue is repeatable. Have any of y'all experienced this? This is a great suggestion! While I don't have much to add to what you've said in favor of the increased flow distance, I will say this has made me realize how useful aqueducts could be in general. Instead of needing to establish a base or outpost near a rapid to properly utilize it, one can transport it long distances to use it where one might prefer to build a base. Though, if rivers are implemented with rapids, it might decrease the usefulness of aqueducts since one can just park next to a river and use that for power rather than the transported water. I will need to look into how feasible they are now since the source of the rapids tend to be high up which would aide in constructing an aqueduct already but the potentially long distance one would need to transport the water might make the five block flow distance quite anemic. It has its purposes for single player it just depends on how the person plays. For instance, I like playing with class specific crafting recipes on since it adds challenge as well as some utility to traders since they can have class specific items in their shops. I think, personally, it just adds dimension to how folks play.

I agree with @SeaWarriorSon! It will be quite challenging but the pay off will be quite satisfying. Were you thinking Jan or something like October? I will also say the berry bush changes might affect how well the run goes but, at the same time, I'm not sure! Best of luck seraph!

I always felt owls would be an appropriate addition to the game given their mysterious and somewhat haunting nature. Being able to see the reflection of light on their eyes in the dark forest would be quite neat. I am not a game developer but I imagine they might be quite difficult to implement in a satisfying way. Birds overall would make the world feel a lot more alive in my opinion and I hope they add a wide variety in the future.

Well that’s what’s confusing. I don’t message in that discord at all! I don’t know what I could have been banned for if I don’t even message in there. Is there a way to appeal a ban? Also a vpn should’ve worked while joining though tho that’s weird.

Hello! I have recently had to remake my discord account due to a hack into my old one and I, unfortunately, cannot seem to join the discord server for the game! I've tried pasting the link directly, using a VPN, trying the link via the game, trying the link via the forums, I've tried it all and it won't work for the life of me. I, most likely, have not been banned so I am not sure what the issue is other than it being on the discord's side. Anyone else have this issue? If so, what did y'all do to fix it? Thanks! Snarrlord
