  1. Idea: Making glue out of bones as an alternative to resin. Because you know... boiling hooves and stuff...
  2. I edited the music playlist to play something different in game when in caves. I made a mistake and didn't notice that it plays several different files at the same time to create the ambience... thus suddenly me being blasted with a cacophony of like three songs at once when entering my mine...
  3. Yes, I could. But I don't want to, that's why I asked if there was a collected document or another way where I don't have to jump through topics one by one.
  4. I haven't played for awhile and the update now skipped a few versions. I don't want to read through every single forum entry. Is there a list of all patch notes in one document?

Well I don't know what kind of lanterns you handled, but with all I had used in my time this was never a problem. Even less so compared to a burning torch... But you know... it's a game in the end. Real lanterns aren't water proof either...

You are aware that you can take out the candle, right? I real, I mean, not in game (yet). I don't see why you shouldn't be able to use them as fire starters.

I see where you're coming from, but I rather have lanterns being able to spread fire like torches. They're reasonable mid game item, with the reward for the materials etc. being they're water proof as opposed to the low-tech torch.
  8. I know. But it would be cool.
  9. Unfortunately the screenshot is kinda bad bu tI stumbled upon this serene valley with a ruined bridge in in. I hope that counts as landscape.
  10. In v1.18.0-pre.1 Lore Update: The Resonance Archives it says: Something I think would be really cool if those glaciers (or some of them) would be hollow. Basically big ice caves, maybe with ruins etc. in them.
  11. BTW: Just wanted to say thank you, @TeacupAngel, for the work you put into this!
  12. I mean... it IS still a game, after all. I did cut down redwoods with primitive tools (flint and obsidian), too - the fact that it took a lot of preparing and carrying a bunch of axes was part of the fun - and I still am using the wood I got like several OT hours later.
  13. I feel the same, though I can't show a cool graph like you, I just noticed that when spelunking, I tend to stumble upon way fewer deposits than usually.
  14. Maybe I didn't find it, but replacing cubes when chiselling would be nice to correct mistakes. Not that realistic, I know, but hey... it's a game after all.
  15. Reminds me, I had found the most awesome bridge/aqueduct ruin and valley combo. Sometimes the world gen really gives you gems... (the screenshot if pretty shabby, though, but you might get a little bit of an impression)
  16. Rivers! And in general improved world generation. Of course, best if combined with e.g. fishing.
  17. In game? I don't know, I haven't tried - if not, than that might be a good idea to change, too.
  18. Open lantern. Put flammable material against candle. Close lantern. That's how you'd do it in real. In game it would just be the same animation like with a torch I'd suggest.
  19. Hello people, can you light things with a lantern? If so, I haven't figured out how to do it. If not, why not? I mean, I see how it might be a trade off - water resistant light, but can't make fire with it - but it seems weird to have a burning something around and not be able to ignite something else with it.
  20. Personally, I think knapping branches for stone tools might be a bit much, but I love your drawings
  21. So, finally took a look into that whole thing. I noticed there are several other variables in the .json file. Some are self explanatory, some not so much. e.g. what does minSeason/maxSeason specify, and what are the value ranges? (seems to be 0-1, but I am not sure what they signify). Since I'd like to have my music to be played basically to all times of the days, to all seasons etc. for the start.
  22. Aww thank you. I do think your ideas are interesting. I just can't tell if or how they could be implemented in the game.
  23. Awesome! Well not really easy, but with these instructions, I think I can manage! Thank you SO much!
  24. Hmm, that doesn't really do what I want. I want to add music, not replace it. But thanks for looking into that!
