  1. Hytale is using Flatpak to provide it's launcher for Linux, VS should do the same, it's a better way to distribute software for Linux than the current one.
  2. Flathub maintainer still couldn't update to v1.20.7 and the mods still broken outside of it, pls Tyron, at least statically link game dependencies on the Linux build as you don't want to release in appimage or manage the flathub release.
  3. Not much, but it's better than just let despawn, i store them in the Reed chests and let it rot
  4. let the hides rot and use them as part of compost.
  5. @Princess2 The flatpak mantainer updated the repo, so you can do it now. flatpak update
  6. Yeah, i'm also with the same problem, the flathub release shoud've be managed by the game devs, but it seems it isn't, since the glibc update breaking everything flatpak is crucial to play modded VS.
  7. Since the glibc update broke every mod on Linux it would be awesome if you guys release the game also in appimage and get the ownership of flathub release of Vintage Story, so things would be smoother in the FOSS side of things. Since the v1.20.6 update we can't play on mods 'cause the flathub maintainer didn't update the game there and we can't just use the official site binary 'cause the glibc stuff still didn't got fixed. (you guys could also ship the Linux build with all embedded dependencies linked internally in the official package, i would't mind, disk space aren't a hurdle as it was in the 90's) EDIT: now it is updated, finally i can resume my gaming obsession, but this shouldn't be a thing, i couldn't play the game for almost 3 days...
  8. 500ml thermic bottle for coffe /tea with all sort of cute rust drifters!
  9. @Hatrune_Cubic Where? I couldn't find it using the search, please provide the link.
  10. That's not really what i wanted, i wanted do APPLY a custom playstyle without having to set up manually every time i generate a new world, if you can export why can't you import and save as a new playstyle? This would be a good feature to have.
  11. Well, thanks for looking on it anyways, bro.

    VR Support

VR/XR support or mod would be awesome!
  13. Thanks, i would REALLY appreciate it.
  14. Thanks, that got me 50% of what i wanted, but i would like to paste it into the world creation so i can reuse this settings so i won't have to configure manually when testing world generations and save it on a list like the presets the game have in "Select a playstyle" in world creation, there's any way i can do it?
  15. Yeah, we need more skin and hair colors in base game (a system for custom color and skin texture would be nice).
  16. It would be nice if we could save the playstyle we customized in world creation so we could share with eachother and tinker with world creation. This would be amazing even if achivable just even with modding. I dunno if someone else already suggested it, if so, sorry.
  17. 1) I'm all in favor to being added into Steam, 'cause it would be possible to add a regional pricing for low income countries like mine. (i know this is already in the FAQ) 2) We should be allowed to save an custom playstyle to create new worlds with it. 3) The button "create a new world with this world seed" should inherit the custom playstyle of the old save (or add an new button with "clone this world playstyle and use another seed"), because just gettind the seed doesn't make much sense IMO.
  18. I think this game would get a lot of sales if it was avaliable on Steam, outside USA and EUR this game suffer with lack of regional pricing, i'm Brazilian, on my currency this game is quite expensive for an indie game, worth it of course, but cost the same of an AAA game in 2018. An demo with iron stuff and beyond locked would be enought (and some fixed color on the skin denoting an demo player account).
  19. WAY beyond useful, thanks mate! Edit: My native language is Brazilian Portuguese, so i took the liberty to translating the english language file creating the brazilian.json file with it, be free to do WHATEVER you want with it, it's yours now! \o/ I added you on discord, i would be glad to help with anything Linux i can if you want, thanks again. brazilian.json.txt
  20. @Julius van Vern You should add subtitles in english, so google could autotranslate and you reach yould be greater. @SirLordDilbert sugestion: if the goblins have the same size of drifters (and have 1.x times the speed) they would be more interesting, they look more like orcs than goblins.
  21. All of this make so much sense it shoud become part of the vanilla game! Great works, thanks!
