Izzylalowso
I think it would be cool if when you reach the iron age you could make some sort of flintlock muzzle loading gun, you would have smith a barrel with the anvil, and make other parts from casts of brass, mixing gunpowder and pouring lead balls. I think this would be an adequate evolution of power into the iron age, and the reloads would be quite lengthy, holding each stage of reload in the off hand until you ram it down, or maybe paper cartridges. Maybe some sort of flint replacing dynamic, powder horns for carrying more powder, different types of lead casts, different calibers of barrels and small cheaper gun and a larger bore expensive varient? My idea is pretty loose but i think it would be an awesome addition to the game Edited Thursday at 03:55 PM by Izzylalowso

Thorfinn
Welcome to the forums, @Izzylalowso! Like @Deaderpan I don't think they fit well with the genre. But there are several firearms mods. Give 'em a whirl and see if there's one that kind of comports with what you would like. Krougal
I have mixed feelings. On the one hand I agree they don't really fit, and I'd rather use a bow than a muzzleloader any day. On the other hand, we do have gunpowder and steel and all the other things required so it isn't that far a stretch. I don't know what Tyron has in mind for end of the tech tree. Pretty sure he's gone on record in the past that he dislikes the idea of implementing guns and wants to leave that to the mods. Things can change, obviously, and my memory is not always reliable... but that's what my brain claims to remember.

I think it was something I saw about 24 months ago - give or take a couple/few months.
