Do Traderwagons always spawn a Trader?

In version 1.12.4 I started at a point with an empty wagon next to my spawn point. No trader was living there. Also there was no little wagon for the traiding goods boxes added behind the living part. Instead a bigger waggon with two chairs was added behind the sleeping waggon which contained two beds (which looks odd for a trader .... or can traders have families?).

As for now, traders are allways alone afaik. I certainly would love to see NPC citys and quests introduced at some point as it is kinda strange for so many traders to exist but only you buy something from them.

There's several different styles of trader wagons.  They don't spawn with families though, no.  As for not living there, the trader might show up later.  Maybe even if you reload the world, if you're on single player.  But, sometimes they do just not show up, it seems like.  But it should be rare.   If you're in single player, you could go into creative mode and you can find them in the creative inventory.  Roll a virtual dice if you want to pick it randomly, like the game would.  Or just pick the one you want.

Ive had this happen twice now also.  However, the first time I was preparing to make a bug report and while I sat in the wagon, a trader appeared less than 2m after I entered it.  The second time this happened, I believe he spawned in a wall and walked out of it.  So, they could be there, just stuck in a wall perhaps.
