  1. As much as we all love deals, and probably more so lately, I feel the need to let you know the following; This game is dirt cheap compared to other games out there. The game is still expanding, has a roadmap with many things to come. Like many of these games its also what you put into it. For me, I could spend as little as a couple hours of enjoyment to feel like I got my moneys worth. If you don't like it there is a very generous refund policy. A purchase with no risk. Hope you take the... I was gonna say leap, but its more of a roll over and reach for the remote control...
  2. What mouse are you currently using? There are a couple of topics about this also, perhaps they will help. A couple of latest ones are:
  3. I got stuck on this too. When something like this happens, just set yourself up a little test area, click it, shift click it, control click it, heck, even shift control click that sucker. At least then you'll hopefully find what you need, and familiarize yourself with some other options too!
  4. If I hazard a guess based on the availability of different light saturation levels, I would say this is planned and coming. I would also guess that it would be sometime after light bleeding is taken care of and standards for some basic light types are finalized. I definitely look forward to this mechanic. The ability to shade your light in a multitude of colors would be fantastic. I would suggest that it not be limited to something like 16 blocks for effects. Sixteen blocks for texture perhaps, but if the light saturation system can handle it, Id love to see a difference if I created something with 6 blues and 5 greens from 3 blues and 5 greens. If you follow my strange line of thought.
  5. I would love to have stairs do their wonderful corner bit in VS. I also feel as if we should go with it, so... If a full block is say 2x2x2, a 1x1x2 would be an awesome standard addition, heck a 1x1x1 has uses. In the same way that would be great, sloped blocks, and perhaps blocks larger than 2x2x2 also. When I play a 2x2x2 block building game, the chisel is GREAT. However I'd like to see more Standards included in the base game. When I do play these games, I think in terms of Legos, and most of these types of games miss it by a mile. No limitations, more shapes and sizes please.
  6. I have mixed feelings about this along with others. But I would overall accept because of exposure and you don't have to reinvent the wheel. That said I don't use the twitch launcher because it is a sad bit of coding and it reports back more than I am comfortable with. The other issue I have with the ifrastructure regarding mods, is two part, searching is a nightmare with name and tags not being used properly, and of course the information contributors put forth about thier mods is most of the time.... horse pucky. You pretty much have to try something to find anything out about it.
  7. I like this. Having not used bees quite yet I don't really have anything to add. However, it does suggest to me another idea along the lines of Chicken Coops!
  8. I was considering something like this also. Perhaps when M is used for the full map, there could be a setting to have the game paused. And from there you could edit your waypoints. In addition to that a few other things, of course; First a windowed list of your waypoints or a waypoint manager would go a long way. I find myself going back and forth between my waypoints quite a bit since there are stages of tech/resource uses. Second could we have both a field for Name and Description for waypoints. And the ability to refer to our waypoints by name and id number while using commands. Along these same lines another field for grouping certain waypoints together, ie mining, ruins, etc. And of course tied in with the next. Third would be icon size for maps being adjustable or hidden all together. This perhaps would be more of a map legend thing, but still applicable. Also when mousing over and interacting with a waypoint icon on the map it could take you to your waypoint manager window for easy editing. Or even a mouseover popup option for quick use such as removing the waypoint.
  9. Ive had this happen twice now also. However, the first time I was preparing to make a bug report and while I sat in the wagon, a trader appeared less than 2m after I entered it. The second time this happened, I believe he spawned in a wall and walked out of it. So, they could be there, just stuck in a wall perhaps.
  10. I feel that the best solution to this would be newly placed soil defaults to zero or very low nutrition numbers and would need to be built up from there. New farm, new soil. I can totally understand trying to source up new soils on a multiplayer server. Even on a single player I collected it, I'd like to reuse it, redesign the farm, etc.
