zasx 312 Posted Monday at 01:21 AM Report Posted Monday at 01:21 AM (edited) In the new version, I can't make a sheaf of dry grass for the first bed. I don't see any information about the crafting being changed? Even the guide shows the same crafting method. Edited Monday at 01:22 AM by zasx 312 1
coolAlias Posted Monday at 02:05 AM Report Posted Monday at 02:05 AM It has been reported on their github bug tracker, and they are aware of it. I'm sure it will be fixed in the next patch. 3
Shoom Posted Monday at 07:50 AM Report Posted Monday at 07:50 AM For now, you can pop into creative mode and spawn a bed in to circumvent this or any similar bugs, the command is /gamemode c then once you've given yourself a bed from the creative menu you can return to survival by typing /gamemode s 3

Slam Posted Monday at 06:11 PM Report Posted Monday at 06:11 PM Honestly, didn’t effect me, I don’t find beds very useful, especially early on, when the nights are super short, and I’d rather spend that time clay forming, cooking, organizing, any at home activity’s, or just anything that know won’t lead into bears or wolves. Now if the rift activity is medium or high, and I don’t have an area to do those activity safely, yeah, tuck me in, good night, don’t let the bed bugs bait and sweet dreams, but asides that, I’m using every 7.2 of those’s hours every month. sure there’s also the healing, but some reeds and horseradish is much easier to get then actual food unless your already sitting on a hoard, which early game, your not. 1

Well, I was impatently waiting for my anvil mold to cook. There was nothing left to form, organize or cook until I got that sweet saw blade to make chests.
Dilan Rona Posted Monday at 06:21 PM Report Posted Monday at 06:21 PM given the changes made so far, its not too far off to assume that a penalty for not sleeping will eventually be added. just my thoughts in this topic.

I would expect as much from a status effect system, and it's partly why I'm starting to dread its addition. Not because I would find such a thing a problem--I already sleep through most nights because I prefer daylight to work in, and it makes sense that there would eventually be some drawback to going without any sleep at all. It's more that, given recent reactions to 1.22 content and other cases of more nuance/challenge being added to certain areas of the game, I'm not looking forward to the reactions such changes will likely stir up. 1

I'd expect maybe just reducing natural health regen, or perhaps slowing movement speed/work speed a bit. Difficult to really work efficiently when exhausted, after all. That being said, I'd also expect the player to need to go a few consecutive days without sleeping in order to incur such a penalty. That way players can still work through some nights if they wish, just not every night. 1

I already play with a sleep mod lol, realy makes me think more carefully and strategize my daily activities and movements rather than just full sending.
