Tyron Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 Dear Extraordinary Survivalists v1.22.6, a stable release, can now be downloaded through the account manager. This update addresses a few more in-game exploits that we recommend server owners to install to prevent griefing. Plus a regression fix that was caused by 1.22.5 change related to the devastation area. Screenshot by Moose, shared in #screenshots on discord Game updates Feature: Added Autobanning on block break burst abuse, only active when server antiabuse mode is not off. (Thresholds are adjustable via serverconfigs BufferSize, TriggerOnBlockBreakCount, TriggerOnDurationMs and BlockBurstAbuseBanDays) Tweak: Added the ability to restore blocks from the server-build.log file that where deleted by list of specific players (via commandline arg restoreLogsFolder) Tweak: Update community translations. Added bulgarian, fixed lithuanian not working Tweak: Since the 30 auction limit is now enforced, increased the limit to 100 and added worldconfig "maxAuctionsPerPlayer" to change it. Fixed: 2 more griefing/dupe fixes Fixed: Auction house per player cap of 30 100 not working properly. After 30 100 auction you wont be able to make new ones Fixed: Spawner accepting data change from players not in creative mode. Fixed: Network packet exploit allowing players to place any block Fixed: Suboptimal claims checking on placed beams and other minor issues Fixed: Players not being able to interact with things in the devastation past dimension View full record 10 4

If enough people don't retrieve items after buying, the one who was selling them will be soft locked from selling on AH. 3

Moltrey Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 Tyron: If you have the time, can you look into an issue when sleeping in a Trader's bed you wake up standing on the bed instead of next to it, with your head through the sloping roof. I could not figure out a way to extract myself from the situation and saving and reloading didn't help. In this case it was a hay bed. Sneaking/squatting didn't work either. Thanks. 2

Yes, this has happened to me multiple times, as well. I am playing on single player and have to either go creative to break a block or go no clip mode. Not doable on someone else's server. I've not updated to this patch yet.

Kind trader allows to use his bed for tired traveler =). Saved me couple of times. Since 1.22.3 at least. Almost vanila: only terrain modes, some qol gui modes. There is one sleep related setting on server though: "allow sleep during temporal storms" = ON. Edited August 2 by karticiy changed "since version" 2

I was able to get out by just sitting down with G, or in some cases just crouching, and moving off the bed. Whether that works may be dependent on which specific trader structure it happens in. 1 hour ago, Tyron said: how were you able to sleep on a traders bed? I've been able to sleep with no issues, just like pre-1.22. It's always only been guarded by world.Claims.TryAccess(byPlayer, blockSel.Position, EnumBlockAccessFlags.Use), but it doesn't seem like it has much of an effect, just like for a couple other things like firepits. Some items being interactable does conflict with information returned by /land info: Quote These lands are claimed by Trader. You don't have access to it. AllowUseEveryone: False, AllowTraverseEveryone: True Protection level: 10, Granted Players: None., Granted Groups: None. @ 0 Though admittedly I think it's kind of better this way. Maybe beds could be debatable, but it's nice being able to use firepits at least. But, interestingly, BlockOpenableContainer is correctly unopenable, despite seemingly checking for the same access permissions. My best (somewhat uneducated) guess is that the issue could be related to ILandClaimAPI.TryAccess() apparently always returning true on the client? I'm not really sure how this system works exactly, though. Edited August 2 by MKMoose 1
Facethief Posted August 2 Report Posted August 2 Yeah, wait, you aren’t supposed to be able to sleep in traders’ beds? I thought they were just chill like that… 6

It's just always been that way as far as I can tell Tyron. I figured it was WAD as I have never had it not work. I'm guessing some of the confusion might be because when the traders got updated, many of the beds got switched from the ones usable by the player to the decorative beds that look nice but can't be slept in. I assume this change was made partially for aesthetics and partially to stop players from taking advantage of a free safe spot to sleep. However, not all beds were changed, so occasionally an outpost will have a bed that can be slept in. I think it's generally the treasure hunters that have beds like this, possibly because one of the treasure hunter outposts was the first to be implemented as part of the trader rework. That being said, I could be wrong too.
KahvozeinsFang Posted August 5 Report Posted August 5 On 8/2/2026 at 1:07 AM, Tyron said: how were you able to sleep on a traders bed? I was fairly positive there was a point in one of the release candidates when it wasn't possible to sleep on a traders bed. I remember because it gave me a message saying it belonged to the trader. I don't remember the specifics, but I told someone on the forums it wasn't possible to sleep in a trader bed. Because of that message I got. But a third party said I was wrong. So I tested it again, and that person was right because it was again possible to sleep in a traders bed.
Facethief Posted August 5 Report Posted August 5 Maybe this should be an intended feature. Some traders should be chill like that, based on how much they trust you. 3
