If they are showing up in Cache, they are almost certainly in Mod Manager. [EDIT] I take it that's the case? If not, Click on Reload Mods. Make sure the checkboxes are filled in, then click on Singleplayer --> Create New World --> Create World. Do I need to change anything inside the mod? (When I go into the Expanded foods file and go into Mod Info, I see that networkversion is currently null. Is that an issue? ) I can't seem to wrap my head around why it's not working but everything else is, and no one else is seeming to have this issue. You can't select the box for the mod, or it's sitting on the dots for a long time (like more than a couple minutes)? It's typical for it to look like it's doing nothing. Depending on your machine and modlist, you might have more than a couple minutes between trying to start the game and the world opening, sometimes with those dots just sitting there doing nothing. Sorry just frustrated. I've never had a problem like this before. Yes, the dots will keep loading, vanishing, and loading, but nothing changes. The world just never generates. I turned off Expanded foods by clicking the little blue square, and the world will load up almost instantly. I tried again but now I have a didn't issue that I have on and off with expanded foods. That modlist takes around a second from the time the dots show up on my machine, but I'm on a top-of-the-line i7 with 32 GB RAM, running on a mostly empty high end SSD, but if you are loading almost immediately without EF, and never loading with it, that's just weird. Does server-main.txt at least complete? I didn't take long enough to cook anything, obviously, but it loaded. Curiouser and curiouser. But as long as you have something running, that's good, right? I also suspect most of the new ACA update would work in 1.17, there just might be some weird display issues. Or maybe it'll crash! Neat to hear it can load in just fine. I redownloaded 1.17.11 to try and see if I can get Expanded to work. I've played the mod before and LOVE it, so I really want this to work. Fingers crossed I can get it eventually. Thank you again Thorfinn for all your help before. EDIT I don't even know, but it's working on 1.17.11 now with Expanded story. I have redownloaded that game idk how many times. Bone broth doesn't work either, and neither do breaded food items + oil. Is it possible the old bug with multiple item slots in a cauldron is back? Is that not happening to everyone? I might roll back to the previous version for now. EDIT: I'm still on VS 1.17.11 by the way, with the latest version of Expanded Foods (1.6.5). Culinary Artillery is still on 1.0.11 as well. I'll have to start keeping a record of which are problems. Additionally, Wildcraft throws a crash on exit from 1.18. But only on exit. If you return to main menu, then start another game, fine. Only when you quit the main menu. I'm not running into crashes during play, and what I remember of Wildcraft works the same, but the fact it does throw an error on exit is a little worrying... Ari Posted April 7, 2023 Report Share Posted April 7, 2023 OKAY! After some serious testing of 1.6.5 (in 1.17.11) I have worked out that the recipes in the cauldron are NOT broken. They DO work. BUT. The recipe output text and the green progress arrow ARE broken. So if you put in the correct ingredients for any recipe in the cauldron that takes more than one slot, it will not tell you what the output is going to be, and the arrow will not fill up with green to show progress. However, you CAN tell that it is working because the temperature increases and the cauldron makes the bubbly noises and everything. This is still a real problem because there's no way of knowing how long it will take for something to cook or what temperature it actually starts cooking at. But at least it's *possible* to make candy and broth and everything. It's a very strange bug and I haven't the faintest idea what would be causing it, but if I can provide any more information that might help fix it, I'll be happy to!
