For some reason I can't use Wildcraft together with this mod at all, despite the recent update. It fails out on world creation. Is there a patch or something I need to download additionally to get them to play nice?

In addition to the lard question above, is there no way to make pre-gelatin in bulk (more than 4L broth and 4 bones at a time)?

Please (please please please) consider making some bulk recipes?  Maybe using the large cauldron?

EDIT:  Looks like the large cauldron has this option.  It would be fantastic if this was mentioned in the docs or something.  Would've saved so many hours of cooking.... 😐

Also, making bone broth and pre-gelatin don't seem to be registering as "cooking" in regards to XSkills...is making that count an XSkills request or a L33tman request?

I'm adore this mod. It really expands foods considerably, and personally I feel like the way in which it was done really respects the game's sense of progression. Some more powerful foods open up as you master the various aspects of agriculture, but aren't so easy to get as to completely trivialize the midgame meals. I also really appreciate the added versatility of expanding the cooking pot meals and loosening some of the restrictions. I planted 6 olive trees, hoping for a bountiful fruit harvest. To my dismay however, they're counted as vegetables. I can kinda see why, and it makes sense. I have an orange orchard that will be coming in soon too, so there's that. But what to do with 4 or 5 stacks of olives?

Turns out they're quite good for oil... though i'm not sure how i'm gonna use 50L of olive oil before next year. Maybe I'll put some olives in my salads and pasta.

Updated to 1.7.1!
- Bread crumbs can go into troughs properly
- Dried/dehydrated Wildcraft Fruits texture fixed in pies
- Cooked Chopped Pickled Bell Pepper (Part-Baked) doesn't crash handbook
- Ancient Tools soft dough & pasta recipe added
- Meathook transforms fixed (yet again)
- Alchemy herbs hang on meat racks correctly
- Sausage hang on Alchemy herb racks correctly
- Soulstorm slop can be put into pies
- fpHandTransform removed from all files

Back-end updates:
- JSONs greatly trimmed down
- Many, many shapes removed & consolidated
- Use new ACA renderIngredients method
- Patches use "addmerge" instead of "add"
- Sushi variants slimmed down, remaps added

Quick hotfix! 

Updated to 1.7.2!
- Fruit bar textures fixed
- Aged meat hangs on meat hooks properly
- Sunflower and acorn bread crumbs have textures in small trough
- Liquid patches use 'add' instead of 'addmerge' to avoid double transitionProps

Hello, thank you for developing and maintaining this wonderful mod.

I just wanted to mention that since updating the mod (to 1.7.2) all fruit bread textures are missing. I've tried a variety of combinations and all result in a missing texture. See image attached.

this is a common issue when you have multiple mods installed that add new textures to the game. do some research around the forums about increasing the size of the texture atlas

Just wanted to give you a heads-up... there's a bug with the survival handbook page for "Muffin (part-baked)" any attempt to access that page of the handbook crashes the client. I have loads of other mods running, but this seems very specific to expanded foods and to this single item. Confirmed on multiple clients. Also confirmed on both MP and SP. Here's the crash log in case it helps!

La Communautés des Naufragés has translated your mods “Expanded Food” and “A Culinary Artilery” into French.

It's an “automatic” translation, so there are still some corrections to be made manually. But three quarters of it is functional and “correctly” translated.

Thank you for the response, the atlas size is / has been at 8192 which I assumed would be more than enough. I'll do more research / testing on my end.

It is for me, but i'm only running a handful of mods that add new textures. How much space you need depends on how many mods you have that add textures, and how many textures those mods have. That said, the only time I've ever had this missing texture thing happen to me is when the texture atlas is *slightly* too small... not small enough to cause crashing, but just small enough that occasionally textures get bumped off the atlas. For me it was fat (but only while placed on the ground) and oiled hides. I'm using the current version of expanded foods and fruit dough textures seem to be in place.... although, if i'm not mistaken there are several different fruit dough textures depending on the color of the fruit used. Perhaps it's worth checking the other fruit dough textures to see if it's just one or if it's all of them.

Hi, I had this mod in my server, but it simple stoped to work. isnt crashing, just doesnt appear at all, as if it wasn't installed ( but it is, I confirmed).
I recentçy changed hosts for a better and with more RAM,  and that's when problem started. Any Sugestions on what could be happening? Thanks in advance!

Hey, not sure if this is a bug or not, but I recently made fruit syrup and am trying to store it in a barrel, but the rot timer is going down literally months a second. It started at 12 years about 2 minutes ago and it's already down to 9.8 years

This could be the temperature going up, check if it is back to 12 years once you place it somewhere colder

I tried this in a barrel, a bucket and in and outside of my cellar. It's also mid-fall in game, so it should be getting colder anyways. Nothing changed.

So, did the food spoil or did it stabilize at 9.8? Weird bug if it spoiled, might be a mod conflict of some sort.

I keep my syrup in my kitchen (not a cellar) in a barrel and it stays preserved just fine.

Add milk soup.

IRL recipe:
2.5 liter milk
1 tablespoon butter
10 dg flour
pinch of salt
about 2 tablespoons sugar

Boil milk, add salt and sugar. Slowly mix in flour, stirring the whole time. Boil again on small heat and add butter.

I'd love some more mobile-survival options! I love the nomadic options this mod offers with tack and pemmican, and would love some kind of pan-bread or flatbread that I can make without an oven, only a campfire and the pan on-the-go.

Updated to 1.7.3!

- Wildcraft stuff:
-- Patches updated to new file paths
-- Handbook crashing fixed

BALANCING:
- Cottage cheese mixing bowl recipe added (vinegar + pasteruized milk)
- Liquid gelatin and pre-gelatin no longer allowed in fruit bar or muffin recipes

1.20 UPDATES:
- Cider/wine & spirits adjusted to have half nutrition but last 10 times as long/take 10 times as long to cure
- Raw fish nutrition adjusted to match vanilla

BUG FIXES:
- Part-baked muffins don't crash the handbook
- Salt is its own topping in porridge, like other meals
- Fruit bread and muffin saguaro overlays fixed
- Cured deluxe sausage recipes fixed
- Seaweed patch fixed
- Seaweed nutrition works in sushi
- Sausage shapes have textures, should fix crashing
