Thank you, I don't recall seeing it but I'll try.

I wonder if I'm missing something? Isn't it stupid that I need to pour egg white and egg yolk separately only to then reeeeeeeeeeeeally goddamn slowly mix them in a bowl? This is too many extra steps compared to real life.

The issue is a block takes 10, a stack is 64, so you get 6 blocks and the lie of being able to do more.
-
I don't think so, since I'm using it. Maybe I missed something. Still, this should be in in the basegame imo.

There would be no way where removing this would be a "QoL" update as getting grass and horsetail from a resting field is a bonus and to keep that intact you'd need to do extra steps. I mean go for that if you'd like. But really, just get a scythe, and enjoy the benefits. Learn the tools.

Janeator started following Multiplayer server map through computers reset , Refill hotbar daub from inventory. , Variable order food recipes not stacking and 4 others

Just use daub from inventory or move it onto the on-hand stack when I don't have enough on my hand to complete a block but have more in my inventory. This is incredibly annoying.

Please let me put my Carrot soup with chicken eggs and parsnip soup in the same crock as my Chicken eggs soup with carrot and parsnip.

Intended/Default way of Moving your Respawn Point Permanently
Janeator replied to Crysta's topic in Suggestions
I think it's not, because usually you'll set the respawn at your home, but this game severely encourages building up your house over an extended period of time with new storages and technologies, which means you might need to place stuff where your spawn was or move it by 2 blocks. When this has a cost, it's extremely inconvenient and just gets in the way. If the cost of slightly moving it within a radius on a large months cooldown was free, there wouldn't be as much of an issue, but the main issue still remains that once it expires, it's back to the arbitrarily selected world respawn point. There is no rhyme or reason for that respawn point. Maybe there could be structures scattered around the world where you'd respawn to the closest one if no spawnpoint is set? -

I agree the current vanilla way is absolutely terrible. 100% centers your world on the original spawn. Personally I use this mod: https://mods.vintagestory.at/bedrespawnner You might find it a bit cheaty since it's easy to plop down a bed anywhere as you adventure with just some grass, but I mean... it's really part of a bigger question on the gameplay loops of a game like this. Constantly being able to respawn at your home and defend it without penalty (bar armor durability) when mobs don't do anything but hurt you might seem cheesy, but when the alternative is just reappearing at an arbitrary point fixed in the world...? Eh. In my opinion, the answer is to balance it around other types of penalty. To be fair the game already punishes you in some other ways I believe by removing your extra max hp and food bars balance, but it isn't really all that impactful. -
Thankfully you can get a mod for it https://mods.vintagestory.at/pickupfast

I'm a MC veteran and I think you're absolutely right. Specially since Minecraft recipes are kept fairly simple - but here we have some absolute nonsense. Have you seen windmill-related recipes? Tabbing back and forth 5+ times as you say... We have a handy handbook showing us all the things, let us just craft directly from it! Hell, make dedicated stations we need to craft at if need be! I think this game needs to take a page from more modern and way more user friendly survival crafting games like Grounded.

Suena bien interesante, es posible que el motivo por el que no exista algo así todavía es porque no sería tan visualmente coherente de encontrar esparcido por el mapa de forma natural... pero para algo están los mercaderes supongo!

I started playing on a server with some friends and explored a rather large part of the worldmap. However a couple weeks after I finished building my new computer, which is a totally different machine, and I've now started playing there instead. I noticed however that I could not see any of my previously uncovered map in this machine - only waypoints. Is this a bug? Is this normal? I assume this means the map visual is saved clientside - where should I check to retrieve the images on my older pc so I can stitch them together? Thanks. P.S.: Are there really no mods or base game functionality to share map / waypoints / toggle types of waypoints?
