  4. He was clearly trying to open a Rustaether Portal here! But he probably forgot you first have to soak the rusty metal parts in the barrel of water for 3 days and then use this "rusty" water to pour and open the portal dooooh... <jk jk ofkors >

  8. Amazing job! I love the story behing each room! I also might just steal that leatherworks building idea with barrels "in the floor" soo good and thought out! Aswell as the scroll racks/bookshelves behind double door to make it into a wardrobe! blew my mid kinda
  9. Or expanded foods + cooking artillery - You get LOADS of new foods and recipes - and new kitchen utensils like a rolling pin, sauce pan and cauldrons!
  10. I know Youre building this in survival which still is sooo crazy to me but maybe try to make a dirt "roof" over the structure so You dont have to deal with the snow?
  11. There is a mod that goes along with expanded foods and coolinary artilery called simply food shelves. Adds alot of containers for food storage including horizontal big barrels and barrel racks
  12. dead pumpkin always makes me sad
  13. looking nice and cozy! can i ask whats the mod for the mounted heads and bear rug?
  14. There is wolf taming on the road map but wolf cub trapping made into the game along with trapping chickens, etc. But for now it has no practical use - other then what i did in one of my worlds to have a wolf kinda pet I build an enclosure surrounded with 2 tall fence, then captured couple of wolf cubs and released them into the enclosure. Eventually they've grown up and i had a wolf enclosure in my base.
  15. Well i do get the realism arguments and i try not to disregard but... You actually can just dig out a bush - like a berry bush and plat it somewhere else in real life - maybe it would be more realistic in the game if you had to use a shovel for that instead of breaking it like it is know but yeah therese that
  16. Imo its best to learn the game on the default settings. Things happen slower on 30 days and you dont get to experience things as fast so its a time investment for sure. You still have plenty of time to learn and experience the game on 9 days per month - its not all that hard to prepare for winter if youre scared about that. And also if youre a totaly new to the game with no previous knowlegde you will mess up probably (just a normal process - weve all been there!) and proabably at some point in your 1st world you might decide you wanna start anew with all the knowlege youve collected to get a better start - so on 9 days per month you can get to that point with less time invested into the 1st world. just my opinion and i wish you the best of luck! And learn the game on you own pace and ENJOY! thats the best imo
  17. Daaaaaamn man that looks amazing!
  18. Yeah what Ape just said but if you really really want to be able to get berry bushes other way there is always this mod: https://mods.vintagestory.at/wildfarmingrevival "Seeds for flowers, fruits, cacti, and fern can be extracted with a knife in the crafting grid. These seeds do not require farmland or water, but they are sensitive to temperature and will get a heat boost in a greenhouse" - that means you can get seeds out of berrys themselves and plant these to grow into bushes There are also other cool things in this mod like mushroom substrate so you can grow your own shrooms or cutting pine/accacia to get resin more easily
  19. Well at least hes not gonna get cold during winter
  20. Yes if its not in creative mode adding blocks so you can chisel with different texture does remove a block of that type from your inventory
