no animals were harmed Primitive Survival
Spear and Fang replied to Spear and Fang's topic in Mod Releases
It's working for me (with VS 1.14.8 and a few mods), so my first guess would be an improper mod installation or a mod conflict. A screen shot of your mods folder, or a copy of your server-main.txt log might reveal the problem... -

*blushing* Thanks for the kind words, and thanks again for the bug report! -

THANK YOU! I've had a couple other people report this issue and I couldn't nail it down, but an xlib perk might just be the clue I needed! -

Gosh, thanks @Lich! I'd also love to have your deer rug/head added to VS, but I'm not sure about the logistics. I'll pm you on Discord to continue the conversation. -

Hi @KarsT, thank you so much! Sadly, I cannot recreate your issue and no one else has reported it. I tested using VS version 1.14.7 and some smaller animals (hen, rabbit, piglet). If I you could attach a copy of your server-main.txt log file that would probably tell me what's going on (in like C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\VintagestoryData\Logs) I suspect that this is either (1) two copies of my mod installed simultaneously, or (2) a conflict with some other mod, either a mod that changes the default animal behavior (i.e. Farm Life?), or a mod that adds new animal(s). -
64x64 textures - any known issues?
Spear and Fang replied to AlphaRay's topic in Mods & Mod Development
I've used 128x128 textures and haven't experienced any problems nor had any reported to me. I am curious as to which older post you are referring to though. -

I was considering that for sure, but in the end decided that heads might make for more interesting decor. -

@Lich Yes, thank you for reporting that! As I was preparing for the new release, I did discover that that model had both male and female ram heads in it. I have fixed it! -
Bump. Added German translation courtesy of Kiava over on the VS Discord. Thanks Kiava!

Hi Willrun4fun, Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely take a closer look at that and see if I can recreate it. What *should* happen when you remove a fish is: 50% of the time it goes straight into your inventory 50% of the time it flies off the hook and lands somewhere nearby and typically in the water (because, you know, they're slippery!) Because fish of the same type can stack (if they have the same'ish expiry date), it's possible that they are stacking and you're not realizing it. Or it could be a bug too! -
Nothing as fancy as .tfedit I'm afraid. .reload shapes *might* expedite things. Or <Ctrl><F1> as a last resort. Aside: I also use .bsedit a lot, and I also use the ~ key often to adjust time of day/month and other in game settings during testing. https://wiki.vintagestory.at/index.php?title=Modding:Modding_Efficiently

Hi Avos, Are you talking about this mod? If so, it *looks* like @Mr1k3 may have already addressed that issue. Please try this exact pattern: -

Right click to pick up sticks, flint, and rocks. Do not break them and then pick them up. Look for sticks and flint and rocks that are sitting on dirt. The temperature must be between 0 and 35C. You should find lots of worms in one hour. -
Glad I could inspire @jakecool19. You've been churning out some amazing stuff. Kudos to you!

Thank you so much for the translation @Evil Toaster! I've added it to the mod.

I am SpearAndFang#6757 over on Discord. I should have mentioned that I only mod for fun and in my spare time (and make no money from this hobby), so please don't consider this an employment opportunity. -

Thanks @Ledyanaya Sonya! I had no plans to rework textures, but if you are willing to help out I am ALWAYS looking for people to contribute to my mods. This stuff is very time consuming and I am not an artist, so I take a lot of shortcuts along the way! -

If you want ALL of the deets, I did reply to Hexedian yesterday and gave him a relatively complete run down. The cat is officially out of the bag! -

Yeah, I'm trying to create some translucent blocks there, but they currently have that weird side effect. In my defense, they are still creative mode only blocks and WIP! -

Eww. I'll have to see if I can replicate that crash. But you need a little more.. And if you're still missing a piece of the puzzle, then.... And if you've read the book, you may be able to glean that... I really need to make those setups a little more obvious. -
