  1. And what about mod "Simple HUD Clock" ? It has small window with reminder "Storm approaches XX.XX". It's very unmissable. Moreover you see what time left to storm.

  3. Problem solved. It probably needed to reset value - after two set value/restart it works.
  4. Sorry for weak info, so: we have set "daysPerMonth" to 9 and from that time the server run through many restarts (every morning). The value is set to 9, but the month has 12 days still. To be sure I have made it once more: set "daysPerMonth" to 12 restarted server, and set "daysPerMonth" to 30 and restarted server again. Now I'll see if it works.
  5. Does "/worldConfig daysPerMonth [1-99]" work ? We set 9 days per month on our server. Command reports this value ("/worldConfig daysPerMonth"). However the server still has 12 days per month (implicit VS value).
  6. The same problem still again. My last batch of cheese: 4x 2pcs. All reported some % od ripening. One set of 2pcs succesfully ripen and stored in a chest. Another set of 2pcs was ripen more and more (last value was about 55% ripen) and suddently 2% spoiled this morning. Last two sets are ripening still. Even if the last sets would ripen succesfully it's 25% of waste. I'm looking forward to new version 1.14.6/7 and I hope it'll solve this problem.
  7. Second issue: I do see the same behaviour concerning the time until the cheese is ripe. I think it corresponds to system of block updates. And I think it's not a big problem.
  8. That would be fine. But what about use for all that new alloy types ? VS is very well balanced so (near) every item / block has some use and fit into "system".
  9. Metal scrap has very limited use ingame. Whoever reaches iron or steel age doesn't use metal scrap for tools (IMO). Other use is selling to trader only. What about possibility to smelt metal scrap to some metal ingot? For example 16 metals craps => 1 iron ingot (or bloom).

  11. Unfortunately my cellar isn't on chunk border. I'll wait and see if something changes in next version... I hope so.

    Map question

    It'd be great function. Sometimes I move the big map to check something and because the map is moved relatively after translocation instead of to target translocating position, the big map to empty map position.
  13. Because it's repeating problem I really check my cellar door is closed every time. Different place of cellar is a problem cos position fit to kitchen position and any move would spoil whole ergonomy. However I'll test another cellar to know if position is a problem.
  14. Unfortunately it seems the problem isn't fixed in 1.14.5. Two other set of new cheese (2 pcs in set) spoiled again. I have removed lantern and put candle instead of it. I can try to remove candle. What I don't understand: if the shelf position is suitable for ripen why the new cheese put on the shelf started to show "spoiled" from the beginning of process?
  15. First of all: not all forests feature wolves. And you are usually warned before attack by howl. Make some armor. Brigandine iron would be great but expensive. Simple leather body armor / leather leg armor / leather helmet would be fine. make steel sword or at least iron sword. And now the most important: when attacked by wolf don't run away, face him and use use your sword. After several hits he'll turn and run away. Follow him and kill him. It needs some training only and it is quite easy then.
  16. We've installed the last version 1.14.5. Cheese ripening problem should be fixed...
  17. From WIKI : "Keep the sun light level inside the cellar low as it can raise the temperature by up to 10°C, thus influencing spoilage rate. Artificial lights like lanterns, torches and oil lamps are fine." Lantern should be fine...
  18. You can use flax twine or linen. But linen is more efficient.
  19. Tapestry miniature in traders inventory is mirrored. This is problem especially with the Salvation tapestry because lef-right parts of tapestry are mirrored one in fact. So finally you buy the other part of tapestry (left-right) because it's wrongly presented in traders inventory (you see it like for example left part but after buiýing it's the right one).
  20. No. Time progress isn't the problem. I spend most time of server time, much more than other players. I play every server day (so no months, no years). Yes, I put cheese packed in wax on a shelf in a cellar. I put more cheese on a shelf during ONE day. After day, two or more days: one cheese reports "x day left to ripen - %", the other one reports "xx % spoiled". Thats the problem. All my shelves in a cellar are suitable for ripen.
