  1. While pack animals would in fact be neat, there exist carts that have historically been pulled by a single individual. The size of the carts towed behind some traders might be on the big side; A cart that is man portable might be better suited to two or so containers (chests or storage pots). Also, I bet the bighorn sheep could pull a bit more than a man (or whatever species the player characters are - I haven't seen enough lore yet to know for sure what we are). Perhaps a cart holding 4-6 containers, per (domesticated) sheep pulling, with leads and yokes accommodating 2-6 sheep.
  2. Been having this problem and I haven't played any earlier versions, so I assumed it was merely non functional as of yet. Found a dozen or so underground ruins and many surface ones, no chamber, so didn't know they could spawn there too. Still, I think they should be craftable. Let the archives be the rare treasure, not the echo chamber.
  3. There's nothing on the wiki or handbook on how...
  4. Currently, I have a chest about half full of resonance archives I have found spelunking. Having seen an echo chamber at a trader, I could tell wat it was supposed to be: a record player. But it doesn't work, obviously. It also can't be taken from the trader (by any means I'm aware of). So, I think the echo chamber should be made functional, and buildable (some metal parts, wood, linen and resin might make a good recipe). I love the soundtrack to the game, it just sucks I can't play it when I have access to the means to play it.
  5. I like this as well. Could also make paper from wood pulp, by taking a saw to logs and then to the resulting planks, taking the raw wood chips to a quern, and soaking the resulting wood pulp in lime water.
  6. Oooh, now that would come in handy. Would place that down in my iron mines
  7. Like the sloped roof block idea, too. Especially something better suited for corners (haven't gotten into chiseling yet, but when you can just craft stairs and not full blocks but not corner bits, that gets annoying). Would also add grass (moss perhaps?). You can kind of make a working chimney, it's just going to be rather large in comparison to the players body size since I'm pretty sure smoke needs a full 1 block open shaft to work. Would probably want added one of those "china cap" things to keep rain from falling down the chimney. Would LOVE a woodstove that only does heating. Maybe make it out of fired clay bricks. Like the teapot idea, just need tea added to the game. Maybe make a horsetail tea that heals and warms you, idk. Would really like shrooms to be replantable too. You can already replant horsetail though, but it's not the same, i get that. Breaking a temporal gear with a knife in hand will restore some temporal stability, don't recall how much. Is that what you mean?
  8. This would be a huge boon. I think just about every player does this. Maybe at some point add inkwells, quills and parchment/papyrus?
  9. No. Just, no. There's already enough stuff with durability. At least, not until repairing is added to the game...
  10. Love the idea. A tweak/addition to your concentration furnace: the rising steam ought to be able to be used by some turbine (metal parts + wooden gears...?) to create steam power!
  11. There could be an alternative, or possible technology upgrade, that being carts. We have windmills and helvehammers, and there's talk of entering the steam age; but so far, no actual wheels. "Carts have been mentioned in literature as far back as the second millennium B.C." - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cart I don't think this should even be a mod; both of these should be suggested for the base game.
  12. Yes, and this would be a good first step. An improvement to arrows and spears would be nice too, like perhaps to allow them to stick into enemies and cause bleeding. Just something to make them more useful, because it probably wouldn't/shouldn't take 3-5 arrows to kill a rabbit, even if they're flint. But baby steps for now.
  13. Why not include a worldgen option at the start, to pick between foam and solid ore generation?
  14. I think you can click the three stacked lines, and select "moveable" or something along those lines, and drag the windows around and pin them where you want them.
