  1. Update: Added a bit where if you look at someone it will tell you an estimate of how fat they are. Added language support for ES, FR, RU, and JA. If anyone has better translations for these files, PLEASE feel free to submit them and I will replace them. Fixed a bunch of issues. Download version 1.2.7 now!
  2. Not everyone is on the VS Discord. Can you share a screenshot of what you mean? Also have you shared your thoughts in the discord as well?
  3. I'm gonna shoot this down for the simple reason that people sometimes have to leave the game for a while and intend to come back. Claims removal should solely be an admin privilege Also because I detest the notion of squatters and squatters' rights. If you own land, it's yours. End of story, imo. The only change I would entertain is a way to catalogue the claims and get a list of claims that the owner hasn't used in a while. Other people entering the claim should have no bearing on the decision to remove the claim.
  4. joining in late here. might be useful if boiled in water to make a drink with mild healing properties. Could also reduce damage taken by some percentage for a while, too.
  5. you didn't crawl when you took one to the face. You came charging at me...er.. uh the other hunter that shot you... yeah.
  6. The only potential issue I see is that the "crafting fletching with a stick and a knife" might conflict with Primitive Survival which also uses that as a shapeless recipe for stakes.
  7. Dunno. You're not really answering my questions and there's not really any information here to work from. I guess maybe just reboot your computer and see if that helps?
  8. TFC inspired VintageCraft which became Vintage Story. Makes you wonder sometimes.
  9. same error message every time? Paste a screenshot when you see it, please. thanks.
  10. Yes, but you won't be able to join servers. The game didn't crash. OP just got an error message telling them to log in.
  11. MC = TOBG Hytale = ABG (another block game) Glint = Adventure Mode
  12. Sounds like you need to make sure you're logging into the game and not playing in "offline" mode.
  13. You say that like I haven't crafted an oil lamp or lantern and thought, "BOY I SURE HOPE ANEGO DOESN'T CHANGE THESE SO I HAVE TO REFUEL THEM....." What I want to see is coal gas lamps so that the coke ovens are useful for more than just making coal coke. Add to your list: Coal Gas Lamp, powered by coal gas stored in a gasometer (literally a barrel inverted over a pool of water): Infinite burn time provided there is a source of gas. Can use iron pipes to transfer the gas as needed, crafted using iron plates and nails (which would act as rivets). And since you're already crafting iron pressure vessels... steam boiler anyone?
  14. i have one.
  15. @MKMoose I think maybe I see where your confusion happened. I was reading your posts as saying that the bloom defect mechanic should be removed entirely, so I was arguing that they should stay and trying to justify it in a way that was defensible and sound in logic. From what I'm reading here, it's now clear to me that you're fine with the uncertainty of the bloom mechanic, but that you want the mechanic to operate differently. You're confused because I was having a completely different conversation with you than the one you were having with me. And honestly, if I'm being fair, most of the game's systems are probably prototypes or at least designed to be extensible by modders. I think a bit of realism is necessary, but going strictly by what we experience in real life is a bit too much, so I get why the inconsistency is probably bothering you. You say that partial blooms could produce smaller ingots or be forge welded together into full ingots. It might work... and it gives the helve hammer (a useful tool for forge welding) a more interesting role than "It fixes the bloom." However if you change nothing, the current defect system still accomplishes what it needs to. It causes early-game friction that is solved by a tool later. Even if the helve hammer erases the issue entirely afterwards, it's still consistent with how the early bottlenecks get smoothed out once you advance in the tech tiers. Yes, it hits beginning players harder than more experienced players. Yes it feels like a nuisance. So we can probably agree that: Some early-game friction is good. The way it's handled could be better, given that I've gone on record stating that I was fine with removing the "hammer fixes things" mechanic with chiseling it down and adding it as scrap in the next bloomery. We probably won't ever agree on this but hopefully... NOW... we both understand each other.
  16. that is.. . weird. I have never seen anything like that before.
  17. four if you count me... my last name IRL means "dragon"
  18. came here to say all this... until Wildcraft officially updates, I've been staying away from it because it's blocking animals from eating from troughs because of the "patch" mods people have made for it to "work". Spoiler alert: It doesn't yet.
  19. this is the solution I would also recommend if you want to ride together. However if you're intending it to be a community elk, I would build a stable to keep the elk contained and prevent it from wandering and then just keep the flute and medallion in the elk's saddlebags when it's not being used. Best of luck!
  20. Hi and welcome to the forums! Chiseling is an art! Typically what I do is to pull up paint and draw a curve one pixel thick and then zoom in until it shows the individual pixels. Bonus points if you click the option to make the grid appear when zoomed in so you don't have to lose track counting pixels...
  21. What is the full resolution? Do you use anything like a screen magnifier? If you press F11, it should force the game to be full screen which should allow you to set the resolution settings in the menu.
  22. You should be able to crouch and walk over the piles of rubble to the left.
  23. Hello! Welcome to the forums! Unfortunately I don't think there is a way in-game to do it. I've seen mods create a new tab in the chat window, but I don't think I've seen a way for the players to do it manually.
  24. Eh... a certain blackguard I play with likes to misplace my things into her inventory... >_>
  25. so you can say, "YOU HAVE MY ARROW YOU THIEF!" and then shoot him?
