Did anyone else find the new location very buggy? This may sound weird but I'm trying to say this without giving away spoilers.

First it didn't load in right, but I didn't know that since I had no idea what it looked like. I had to go find spoilers on the internet to even understand that it wasn't loading right. I was doing it multiplayer with my son and we both died multiple times falling through the solid objects. It glitched out when you tried to "sit" on it and you fell to your death. All of my items were deleted because I switched while I was falling and died and apparently the game didn't know how to handle that. Seems like that would be a pretty common occurrence with that encounter.

Overall. Wow, I love doing the RA. It was a blast the first time and it's still fun. This thing, I would never do again. If I do another playthrough through, this story chapter I'm going into creative mode, flying where needed, and killing everything I need to kill just to skip past it.

Yeah, some of the new locations have had some distinct growing pains. There have been some improvements, but I think overall, it will boil down to what kind of content one enjoys doing. Players who enjoy parkour will enjoy chapter 2 a lot more than players who hate parkour.

Also no shame in this.

The parkour I got through. It was just extremely buggy. The falling I'm talking about was through solid objects and not parkour. Was it as buggy for you/everyone else or working as intended? Was it a multiplayer issue and it's not a problem in single player?

Make sure you mod in a Godly Rapier that does 1000 damage. Or 100, if you like knocking things around a bit, but have things to do...

Don't need a mod, just need to go into creative and give yourself the admin sword.

It was a bit buggy when I went through it the first time, HOWEVER, that was also on a release candidate and not a stable release. I've also played through it with a friend on the stable release(modded), and it was a lot smoother. There was, however, an issue with the lift and mode switching, in which I was suspended in the vacuum of space for a short time. I don't remember exactly how it happened, but switching again fixed it, I think.

In regards to falling through solid objects--some props have goofy hitboxes and look bigger than they actually are. However, there is also a bug where you can get knocked back into blocks. Usually when that happens, you're only partially clipped into the block and can walk free, but sometimes you will actually be stuck in the block itself and need to switch gamemodes in order to free yourself.

I went back the next night and it was less buggy and I was able to finish it. I was falling through a block you are supposed to use. I don't want to say what it was to avoid spoilers but it was glitching and dropping me instead of letting me sit on it.

I had trouble at the third location

Spoiler

When i first got there i tried to fight the mad crow on the ground until it got stuck in place. thought that meant i was good to go up the tower (i ended up getting half way and going into creative bc i h8 parkour) and the crow never came to the top of the tower because i got it stuck fighting it on the ground.

i really enjoyed the 1,2 and 4th locations tho and all 4 look beautiful.

**This whole ass post is spoilers for chapter 2, yall**

Yeah I hated that place.  I tried for HOURS to find a path up that thing before I just flew up there.  Then the boss just knocks you off the tower in one hit almost every time... ganked it with the purple admin sword.  No drops i was pissed.

But the area around it is PRIME mob farming and treasure hunting.  Very very nice loot.  Terrifying though.  God those noises.  Those mobs hit hard too.  I set up a FOB and a respawn there and just farm and loot away until it's picked clean.  I go methodically in a big spiral from the outside inward and leave no chest unlooted.

Resonance Archive, 10/5 amazing.  World class.  Incredible.

The Lazaret, 2/5  Tiny, but still interesting.

Naydia, 5/5  Build my main base near there every time now.

Tobias' cave, 3/5  Gorgeous but small and doesnt really have any reason to come back.

Rustlands bubble thingy, 4/5 great farming and loot as mentioned.

Timewalking tower, -19289239/5  Total garbage from literal top to bottom.  Throw it out wholesale.  Dont even bother reworking it, parkour and the boss are both ass.
