If I have a torch on top of a single raised block, What's the light level on the ground around the block? I can see it being somewhere from 1-3 depending on how it's counted. May I reiterate, to clarify my understanding, and get a response? if I place an unlined lantern(18) two blocks above the ground, attached to the ceiling...the ground block directly below would be 16? And the 4 cardinal ground blocks surrounding it would all be 15? Would the diagonal blocks be 14 then? Streetwind Posted February 27, 2022 Report Share Posted February 27, 2022 Welcome to the forums! I am not Stroam, but I'm 99% sure that you've described it correctly. It's not very visible in Vintage Story, where the steps between light levels are very fine and there are shaders that smooth out the lighting.
