For reference, you only have to cook six flint in the firepit - that's enough to make a bloomery, in which you can cook 24 flint with six charcoal.

Thank you for this, this'll save a lot of peat and coal in the new system

With the Increased cooling rate of items and the lower tempertures of the forge, its now much harder (if not impossible) to manually turn iron bloom into ingots without reheating, and then another reheating to turn the ingot into an item
(Disregard, I was suffering from a skill issue with the new bellows)

It is unpleasant.

I have experienced item vanishing from the crafting grid output, then apearing several minuts later (when attempted another crafting).

For the exact number of items, it looks like there was added new recipes with the same spatial distribution but smaller amount of required resources, that makes crafting grid confused as it cannot decide, which one you want to craft if you put bulk of resources there (e.g. rope is 3x 2 cattails horizontally, but newly craftable headband is 3x 1 cattail horizontally, good luck with ANY number of cattails bigger than 2 put into particular grid windows...). However, as the crafting is somehow unwanted mechanics, it is question, what is the best way to get from this mess.

in my opinion the answer to the issue with the crafting confusing recipes is put a up and down arrow next to the grid to click on if there are more than one thing that can be made from the same materials in that specific pattern. then you click between them until you get the one you want and lock it in. this way no more "30 headbands when you want rope situations". probably a simply thing to add. maybe not. i don't know.

Raising chickens, only two hens and a rooster. Raise up eight more hens, killed the rooster and left the body.

Some time later, I have like 30 chickens a few dead roosters. Apparently, dead roosters can fertilize eggs. LMAO
