tony Liberatto
[Mod Edit] Moved discussion from https://www.vintagestory.at/forums/topic/301-client-cheat-free-client-side-chat-commands-v020/ On my desktop, I have my C drive in a small Solid State Drive and 4 x 4 TB Hard Drive in Raid mode. That's my Drive D. I always keep all the Data in the D drive and reserve the C Drive just for the Operating system and essential software. It actually bothers me how more and more games nowadays keep inserting data into the appdata folder. No option for the player there. When I noticed Ark Survival evolved had already used almost 50 GB of my C Drive. I will change the Drive if it is the only way to make it work though. Milo Christiansen
It may be possible to put the DLL in "%APPDATA%/VintagestoryData/Mods", However your log file does not mention that it will search that path for mods (mine does), so I don't know if it will work or not. tony Liberatto
Since the save folder is already on the Drive C maybe it will make more sense to just install the game there. What is the default location for the game?
Milo Christiansen
"%APPDATA%/Vintagestory" I think.

Edit your VintageStory shortcut and add append something like this to the target Quote --dataPath="D:\vsdata"
tony Liberatto
Thank you very much for this Tyron. A question, would that fix my issue with the mod?

Possibly, the documentation on the CAS Policy ist not very explanatory on this matter. Otherwise you still config your machine to allow it (https://stackoverflow.com/a/28339117/1873041)
CloneSociety
I've followed this to move saves out of AppData, however I now have the issue that when I open the mods folder from in game it opens a mods folder inside the game location, but still only recognizes mods inside the AppData location. Is there a way to shift the mods location to the game files as well?
