I released an update that adds an option to the config to disable animal grazing. Delete the old config, start up a new creative world, and turn grazing off, and see if you can get into your old world.

We were able to get it to boot on our server however when we interacted with the poop, it would throw a divide by zero crash but only on the client, also holding any poop. I am attempting to reproduce in single player but am finding no poop. Config says poop is enabled.

I can confirm the same error as Melonkes (noted on the VS Mod database) and the others above. Ran Farm Life in a SP game, both with and without the mod enabled.

The error repeated several times. This was the latest crash which was immediate on starting. Prior crashes happened after a bit of movement.

The error resolved after disabling Farm Life. Also no sign of poop.

Is it intended that the poop not be directly usable for fertilization as it was in previous versions or is that related to the bug you just dealt with? I noticed the most recent version for 1.15.10 had this issue, where you could no longer see the fertilization values of the individual poop types and it was only useful for fuel or for making high fertility soil. Will that be returned when you can work out the kinks?

Hello!

I was playing on my Solo Game with (probably too many) mods. However, as I leave my enclosure with my chicken (1 hen, 1 rooster, 3 chicks), after a certain point, the game crashes. Here is the log that points to Farm Life being a plausible culprit. I get my pastebin here telling that the error is a Divided by Zero one.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Found out it was about the Unloaded Hunger setting. As soon as I turned it off, it was fine.

 

On another subject, I am working on the French translation of your mod. As soon as I get the file completed (probably during the weekend), I'll post it here.

I am not seeing any issue with the poop fertilization, in fact I added fertilizer props to the poop blocks just incase you had that instead of the item. Have you checked and made sure it is not a incompatibility?

Animals do not die from starvation that has never been a feature. The crash will be fixed in the upcoming update.

Version 1.2.0 has been released! Should fix all the issues with the POI registry giving divide by zero errors, and adds compatibility with Lichen's gemsbok, and Asphyxia integration. Also French and Japanese translations thanks to @Olivier Randoll and @macoto_hino!

I am going to start moving all the information for the mod to its db page, since more and more people are going directly there. This forum page will remain for bug reports, suggestions, and other discussion about the mod.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you do it? Looking at the source it looks like checking for entity.Api.Side != EnumAppSide.Server is the only change... But I might be missing something.

I'm hoping to fork Lands of Chaos and fix this same issue in that - just for personal use though. Is that okay?

I noticed the most recent version for 1.15.10 had this issue, where you could no longer see the fertilization values of the individual poop types and it was only useful for fuel or for making high fertility soil. Will that be returned when you can work out the kinks?

I am not seeing any issue with the poop fertilization, in fact I added fertilizer props to the poop blocks just incase you had that instead of the item. Have you checked and made sure it is not a incompatibility?

Not sure where I would look for the incompatibility. Would it help to see the any of the logs? If so which ones?

And assuming we find the incompatibility, are there ways to fix that without removing the conflicting mod?

Not knowing much about how to look for issues via the logs, is the only other method to load each mod one at a time with farmlife until the last added mod makes it stop working?

I have seen that you have added compatibility to petai and wolftaming. Thanks a lot for doing so.
Your mod actually was a great inspiration for creating the pet framework (as you might have already been able to tell ^^).

While I never really used your mods in my personal playthroughs, I really learnded a lot from looking at the concepts and techniques you used in them.
Thanks for making them readable for the public :).

Wildlife spawns/breeding is also an issue, though I see this has already been mentioned.

Still having problems with pig/otherbabysplosions.
