  1. I really want combat to deal more damage (on all sides), so firearms had better ANNIHILATE anything I land a shot on. I'm talking one-shotting corrupt drifters here.
  2. #1 has been fixed, thanks to Jake. #2 should not be happening in 1.3.4 and I cannot replicate it. All the oil looks fine in barrels. #3 is just how the pot works. That's not something I'm going to change. #4 I haven't been able to replicate either. What foods were having this issue? #5 I was able to... sort of replicate. I spawned a birch tree in creative and stuck a spile into it and a saucepan underneath it and fast-forwarded to January. At first, it said I had a liter of birch sap in the pan but the sap was invisible, then I picked it up and the saucepan registered as 'empty'. Once I removed it and placed a new pan down, it worked fine... although it seems to be gathering sap much quicker than the last time I tested it. Yeah, it makes a bit more sense that you have to get juice out of the berries before you can make new liquids with them. I do wish there was a way to make it so that if you seal berry juice for 14 days you get wine, but for 28 days you get vinegar. Unfortunately, one of those recipes overrides the other, so you have to seal wine back up to make vinegar. Sorry.
  3. What kind of issues does More Roads give?
  4. I'm 99% sure that's just how grid recipes in this game work.
  5. You can only add syrup to porridge, fried food, and baked goods.
  6. Updated to 1.3.4! Saucepan revamped - now capable of turning liquids into solids, and vice versa Bone broth added - can be used in stews Fried veggies added - can be added to salads as optional veggies Fruit juice turns into wine, which can be sealed into a barrel to make vinegar or used in meat stews Mixing bowl can be locked with CTRL + Shift Vinegar is now 0.25 liters per portion instead of 1 Daisies are visible in salads and give proper nutrition boosts Fried/cooked meat is actually visible in salads (oops!)! Liquids rot properly Bottles & liquids given item descriptions
  7. I normally wouldn't post this since it's happening to my mod, but apparently this is a really nasty bug that should be brought to the developer's attention. Here's the report: So I got the latest exper.dll file from @jakecool19 which caused food made by my cooking pot to not cook - they'd just stay cold. This is with the unsafe files. I can't work with a bug like that, so I reverted back to the safe files. Here's where things get funky. I've gone back to the old files and changed nothing else. Now when I cook food made with the cooking pot - it crashes, giving me a rendering error due to the functions of the renderIngredientsByType uh... function. This is despite the fact that these files were working fine last night. Okay, so maybe it's my fault. I revert back to Expanded Foods 1.3.0. No change. I revert Vintage Story back to 1.14.7. No change. I go into my AppData files and delete my VintagestoryData folder and make a fresh world. No change. I delete Vintage Story from its main directory AND VintagestoryData so there's no trace of anything, then I reinstalled. No change. I go into the Control Panel > Uninstall a Program and uninstall all of VS, then do a fresh install and use the safe files. Now it works. I've had trouble replicating this, but it was a hell of a problem to have.
  8. Hey, wait, couldn't you use food oil instead of fat on pelts and machinery? Can anyone verify this and think of any other weird uses for food oil?
  9. I'm working on a use for berries.
  10. You're supposed to make sausage in the mixing bowl, hence the verb "mix". Bottles can only hold 0.25 liters right now, so you're better off getting it out of the press with a bucket and transferring it to a barrel.
  11. No, I'm pretty sure the base game is going to get around to it eventually. I'm probably going to add fruit wine in the future, but that just involves leaving a bottle of juice sitting around. It's not hard stuff. That's because you have to smash the meat to tenderize it before you can chop it into nuggets.
  12. But I wouldn't like my blueberry bread to give bread with red spots! That's weird.
  13. I'd like to clutter up the handbook less, but I don't know what you mean by making similar stuff into a few recipes. I already try and keep things as slim as I can. Is there a good way to set it up so a bunch of the variants aren't visible in the handbook, but they can still be made?
  14. Updated to 1.3.3! Can now add fried meat & ANY cooked meat to salads (including fish) Bottles no longer crash the game when used on a barrel Fruit juice turns into rot upon rotting; barrel recipes added for juice > vinegar conversion Screw press liquid overfilling patched Eliminated false salad clone
  15. I think quartz bottles are my favorite, but I'm also thinking of my bottles. You should toss up some comparison pics!
  16. Do yours look like the weird egg-shapes or do you have the cool bottles from above?
  17. Yeah, what I did fixed that, too. I have no issues with the barrel whatsoever.
  18. Yeah, I can't replicate them because I fixed the issue as soon as Lisabet brought it up and thought I released it in 1.3.2. As it turns out, that is not the case. Oops! The barrel doesn't like textures that are outside of the /game directory, so it was an easy fix. I'll have 1.3.3 out later today. I'm trying to have some actual content out, but all these bugfixes keep interrupting me.
  19. Hmm, I'm not able to replicate the two crashes. I'm DEFINITELY not having issues with exchanging liquids between barrels and bottles, but I can't put cranberry juice in the same barrel as black currant juice. It won't let me. I am having those same issues with juices, though. It seems to interact oddly with the saucepan, putting together 2.5 +1.5 liters results in 5 liters, a full saucepan, while getting the same amounts from the screwpress using a bucket results in 11.75-12 liters (it seems to change). Darn, I thought we'd ironed those kinks out. I can look into config options, sure. It's getting too complex for me to tell people "just go change the numbers in the .json"... which you can still do in the meantime.
  20. Aesthetic suggestion: Perhaps the yellow lines on the side could match the liquid's color? It would blend together better and also make the cork look more distinct. You could probably squeeze some more liquid inside, too. The walls look REALLY thick.
  21. I will always accept any help offered!
  22. Dude, that looks phenomenal. Oh my god.
  23. Glad it works! If I may make a suggestion, the shape looks a bit too high-fidelity. And it doesn't look like any potion bottle I've ever seen. Maybe make them look more traditional? https://graphicriver.img.customer.envatousercontent.com/files/281482757/preview.jpg?auto=compress%2Cformat&q=80&fit=crop&crop=top&max-h=8000&max-w=590&s=3f84790075d80f36260ac12d245d853f
  24. Like you said, it's probably a false positive from whatever Jake did to get the multiplayer aspects working properly. Perhaps your antivirus thinks it's stealing your credit card info and sending it to a secret server in Malaysia. Which one do you use, anyway?
  25. We don't know what's up with that, man. I don't wanna say "just trust us", but Jake didn't add anything malicious. You can look through the .dll yourself if you want. But bringing over the old dll. wouldn't include the new changes from this one, which kind of defeats the purpose.
