  1. Medieval expansion has a cellar ice mechanic that helps with keeping food cellar temperatures low. And that is what I use myself. With a mod to enable me to harvest lake ice during the winter season.
  2. The Butchering mod would be perfect then, combine with the RMeat mod for more realistic meat drops.

    Sticks

    Take a look at the Sticks from Firewood mod (https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/10409), It lets you take firewood and turn it into sticks (1 firewood=4 sticks). It will cover you till you can get shears (which I highly recommend you make.).
  4. Processing blister steel is a lot easier than the iron bloom on an anvil (I am aware of the helve hammer, and prefer to do that job myself). Might be a permanent building that takes a while to build, but well worth it considering the durability you get with steel compared to plain iron. Iron bloom you can only heat one at a time, at least with blister steel I can put in 4 at a time on the forge for heating. Meaning less fuel spent to process the metal.

  6. This is the end result when an animal hasnt enough light. So if you plan to keep them in an enclosed barn, make sure the artificial lights are enough.
  7. I cant see why you want to remove a trader unless you spawned in a trader, and want to remove some. Either way, here is the command you need. The command you want is

  9. Made a mod patch request to fix that bug. Made a post about that bug about a year ago, and its still present.
  10. Expanded foods has a soulstorm brew that can be made. Problem is that the recipe doesnt return a liquid for the refined soulstorm slop inside the sauce pan, or cauldron. But returns an item. Which has to be manually be dropped back into the saucepan or cauldron to turn the "item" into a liquid. A lot of people new to making it get stuck on that step, and cannot distill it into soulstorm brew because of that bug. Patch is temporary until the author of Expanded Foods and A Culinary Artillery fixes the long standing issue.
  11. Yes there is a problem with the soulstorm brew, but as I stated before Its not a game breaking bug, just a major inconvienience to have to manually take the "item", and place it back in the cauldron to turn it into a liquid.@EreticKB
  12. Smithing Plus had some new attributes added to the config. Once I found a version that stacked properly I then compared the config to the latest generated one, and found that if I set MetalCastingTweaks to false (on version 1.4.1 of Smithing Plus), it stacks properly. If its set true for some reason, the ingots from the molds from the mods doesnt stack with vanilla casted ingots. That was a fun debugging session

  14. I noticed today that ingots made with the vanilla molds no longer stack with ingots made with mods like https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/1197 or https://mods.vintagestory.at/molds. And it did stack perfectly fine with older versions of the game and mods. Allready tried downgrading the molds mod, and the issue still persists. So somewhere along with the 1.20 versions something regarding the ingots changed. And I cannot put my finger down on what the changes can be.
  15. I wont say that they will despawn, but they do however die if there is insufficient light.

  18. You want to seal the crock after putting in the food. if you seal it first, and then put the food in, the crock of food will not be sealed, forcing you to reseal the crock after putting in the food.

  21. Now if we can only get a patch mod for the refined soulstorm slop so it goes into the sauce pan, or cauldron as a liquid, and not into the output slot as an item. That would make my day.

  23. dont know. but there are times, i got so disoriented with an attack, that sometimes in trying to get out i move in the wrong direction, resulting in me getting stuck in the centre of the blocks, unable to move any direction, and cannot jump. Made worse if I am stuck in something that is not dirt, and I dont have the appropriate tool on me to self rescue (ie axe for wood, or pickaxe for rocks).
  24. Glitching inside a block, after being attacked, with your back against a wall is a bug, and will happen a lot more to you.
  25. easy way to test that is to remove the boar from the right pen, and see if the trough is still decreasing. If it is, then you just located a bug.
