  1. Alberto is translating to and from Italian and some of it might be getting lost in translation.
  2. While I am with @Thorfinn on this one, as I would like to see this become a thing. @CastIronFabric is right that consumers are idiots. Anyone remember https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third-pound_burger ?
  3. Just what we need, another resource to take up another inventory slot. </s> Cattails and papyrus may have the same use in the game, but they at least grow in different regions. I agree on the bee smoker, but we already have plenty of things to burn. Dried grass, tule, etc. No need to make it overcomplicated.
  4. Blank slate survival world. It's just you and what you build. It has its appeal for some I guess.
  5. Yeah, all 3 (drifter, bowtorn, shiver) have the same drops (although the files are setup to be easily changed), but then the bowtorn has the arrow, with a much higher drop weight. So you'll still have the same low drop rate on all the other items, but they are more likely to drop since there is no arrow.
  6. Sorry, couldn't help myself. Yes, coffee is love, coffee is life.
  7. If you hit F11 it will switch to fullscreen, regardless of what you set in settings.
  8. Yeah, and then there is Easy Anti Cheat, which allows unrestricted access to your system, reports back to Chicom Epic, and really does nothing to prevent cheaters, as any Rust player can attest to. Yet more and more games are pushing it, and very few people raise any objections about it. Ahhh Space Engineers...that is one of the things I love about it, all the cool things you can do with programs. Just wish it had a more robust and stable engine. I hope SE2 turns out better and not like most sequels.
  9. Check your add/remove programs. Depending how long you've had your computer, you will probably see quite a few versions. I currently have 10.
  10. Yeah, come to think of it, you were probably who I got the list from. I forgot about the polar bear armor.
  11. VS 1.2.x uses .net7 VS 1.21.x uses .net8 You need to have whatever applicable version (look at your crash log towards the bottom) The major version releases generally aren't backwards compatible. So just having the latest and greatest doesn't help you.
  12. I'd try reinstalling .NET7
  13. I think we were at about 19.5 C last time it came up (which was fairly recent, forgot which thread). Was a lot of Nadiyan fur (I am assuming can be bought in Nadiya?) and the prince fur (which you have to find). Tailor could craft some equal pieces, although some of the tailor pieces can be found too (reindeer herder shoes are absolute best in class)
  14. So what are you using for AI? I'm starting to think I might want to my own trained monkey AI but I'm not sure where to start. I've played with all the corporate ones, but then you hit X minutes and they want $, and frankly, I haven't been impressed enough with any of them to hand over money.
  15. It's ok, they make cream for that Oh, and still a lot of people do like Sphax, so the comparison should be flattering.
  16. Oh, I think we were just having a little bit of fun with you, but face it, people either like Sphax or they don't, there's really no in between with it.
  17. I have used pretty much all of them. Vanilla+ more early on, and actually I probably liked it better. I've used Terra Prety quite a bit too but wasn't thrilled with it. Most people who make worldgen mods want bigger more realistic looking mountains and recommend playing with the worldheight maxed out, and that is just not for me. I think voxel game devs tend to restrain themselves because when the game lags to shit it makes them look bad, and lots of blocks tend to add to that. I like to keep my view distance as high as possible and my framerate constant. I prefer smaller tweaks than large sweeping changes. My main gripes are also the typical lack of variety in rock strata. Large areas of sameness do nothing for me. While I love mountains IRL (I'll be in beautiful Bulgaria for the next 3 weeks in fact, where there is a saying; pansies grow in the valleys, men grow in the mountains), IG I really have nothing good to say about them. Bad performance. Pain to traverse with none of the feeling of accomplishment you get IRL. Lack of ore. Yes, you heard right, you're all getting a 3 week break from me.
  18. I know, you just made a good point about priorities. I admit the ugly straight line is not really what bothers me either, as I consider it just a symptom of bad worldgen. It is no joke or exaggeration that frustration with worldgen made me set this game aside for months. I still don't know if anything was changed for the better with 1.21 or RNGesus just took pity on me and handed me the winning lottery ticket. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
  19. We can speculate all we want, but we really just need to wait and see. I don't think Anego has anything set in stone right now, nor do they need to until it happens. Like I always tell my wife, "I'll burn that bridge when I get there!"
  20. I think you guys hit it on the head. It hurts my eyes too (both of them). and the nerve of that guy bringing this thread back on topic like that...
  21. Spawn needs more vodka, kielbasa, pierogi and vodka. Did I mention vodka? Seriously though, just a friendly bump to my Slavic cousins.
  22. Maybe that's why we're making a stink about it. It is a higher priority for some of us. Fair enough!
  23. Oh no, don't apologize. I like it. It might help people learn Italian even to see the translations. It is hard to say what would be a good %. I'm still trying to figure that out for myself, and it is another subjective thing. Some players like spawning on a desert island, seeds for that other game like that were popular challenges. Valheim is interesting in that the worldgen is designed so that you have to sail around to explore. While you might find all the biomes on the same landmass or even close, it is unlikely.
  24. Make sure it's wine and not juice?
  25. Also even in vanilla for several versions, they will sometimes lay eggs on the floor right next to a box. I don't know what exactly causes it. If there are no boxes at all, they will lay on the ground, but of course never sit on them, but it might be related to that code and it somehow not detecting a valid box.
