  1. We should be able to place a slab on top of an already placed slab. They shouldn't combine to become a cobble block buy they should at least stack when placed. IMHO
  2. Where you will have to repair the destination translocator if you want to get back home. Your name also changes to Voyager
  3. I just now ran a test. I've been playing for about a week (this time) started on 1.12.5 then 1.12.6. Standard world with no changes and using the VSHUD mod. I was playing while I read this thread. so I saved and quit then relaunched. No issue. Everything I had changed was still there. Next, I started a new world with the same as above. I made a knife, gathered reeds, made a floor basket, put stuff in it then logged out. Everything was still there when I logged back in. The only common thread I'm seeing with these cases is that they just started playing. Maybe somethings missing in 1.12.6 that having had 1.12.5 fixes? How funny if it was the crashing bug that made you release 1.12.6 now.
  4. So 5 minutes. Thank you. How do you look at that info?
  5. Short answer... Yeabsolutely! I had three spawn inside the very well lit "house" in my base like 3 blocks away from me. So all bets are off it seems during temporal storms.
  6. It would be nice to be able to pause the music and mob sounds when you pause the game.
  7. Ugh this temporal storm music is sooo creepy and a little scary. Can drifters spawn during a temporal storm when they normally couldn't? Like a higher light level?
  8. No growing grass or trees in my base. I just learned how to use the .lightutil command so I'll check with that to see if my math was correct on lighting distances. Drifters require two air blocks to spawn, right?
  9. How it light level distance measured? If I have a torch on top of a single raised block, What's the light level on the ground around the block? I can see it being somewhere from 1-3 depending on how it's counted.
  10. Also, where can I find your content please?
  11. I am aware of this infor mation. What I'm talking about here is that, in a clay vessel, it will tell me it has 4 days remaining. I leave it in the vessel. The next day it has a spoiled percentage. It never left the vessel. Also, if it says 4 days in the vessel and I take it out, it shouldn't suddenly be spoiled anyway. I figured these two out last night. Is there somewhere that explains what constitutes a cellar? I can't find more than passing mention on the wiki.
  12. I feel like I've had then spawn at my feet. But it's likely I just didn't notice them till I turned around because they're too quiet.
  13. Yeah that's what it seemed. I pillared to fight some during the night and turned around and they had despawned. What about thrown spears that you can go pick up and carcasses?
  14. I like that idea. I'm sure rebinding control is planned for eventual implementation.
  15. A cool feature for the map wound be a code that will measure where you are to a waypoint and give a rough idea of hoe long it would take you to walk there. Assuming that there's no terrain issues, fights, or stopping to pick things up along the way.
  16. Do thrown spears despawn? And if so, after how long? Corpses also. Do the despawn slower if they have loot? Lastly do the carcasses ever go away if you don't break them and do they affect anything?
  17. Some people will like this model as it is I'm sure, even when there are others to choose from. Personally, I agree that it's just not for me as I tend to lean towards the cutesy look. Ok, I'm lying...I'm all in with the cutesy look. So I can't wait to be able to customize my avatar. My hope is that I can make it similar to my Minecraft skin because, if I ever get the nerve to start streaming and making videos, I'd like a consistent look.
  18. I was reading a very long and very complex discussion about food decay until my eyes glazed. One thing that I was thinking would be nice to have in the game would be a compost bin to put spoiling food into. This could have lots of slots to solve that issue that was brought up in the discussion, or weight based, or maybe once an item is added it changes to a new item that still retains it's spoilage level but can still be in just one stack. As each item changes to rot, the stack of decaying items would decrease and the rot stack would increase. Honestly I have no idea how much of a challenge this would be to code. The other feature of the compost bin, or pile now that I think of it, would be to speed the process of decay. Making it a pile rather than a container could add lots of other cool mechanics, items, or mobs I imagine. Think pitchforks and rats maybe.
  19. Is there a list of the forum ranks somewhere? Inquiring minds want to know.
  20. Is there normally a "safe zone" around you where they wont spawn like in other games, *cough*Minecraft*cough*?
  21. Can someone add to the wiki entries for each mob their jumping capabilities? I built dirt walls around my base and made sure that there wasn't anywhere they could use to jump over them, or so I thought, but I'm still seeing hares, raccoons, and the occasional drifter inside my base. I'm pretty sure my lighting is fine, and I'm not allowing any tall grass so I couldn't figure it out. Now I'm seeing the occasional dead animal at a certain spot on my base and they died from fall damage. So there must be a spot, or more, where they can jump despite my efforts to prevent it. On a side note, Am entry on the raccoons would be nice. I'd do it, but I don't know how to look into the code to see their settings or how to zoom in to take a pic.
  22. It's kind of annoying that I can't react to any more comments today. There's a lot to read back on.
