  1. Yeah, it depends on point of view. The fur is new and maybe the stitching is not that great than tailor's, but the thermal condition should be the same, may be little bit degraded (like 80%) and only a tailor would have 100%. Adding more twines to make it better is questionable, but great for a game Btw. hunter needs more skills than just killing animals. Stitching fur could be one of them. Skills to survive in wilderness.
  2. Thanks @Windego, this was very helpful. Through, this doesn't make any sense. I create new think and have to repair it. What?
  3. Hi, I made myself Fur coat, but the Condition is from beginning Terrible. Why? Is it because I'm hunter?
  4. This would made killing wolfs much more difficult, especially early on. But why not, it would be nice addition. Only not in every biome. Reptilians need hot/swampy climate.
  5. This is the problem, there is no benefit from sleeping. But I'm not sure if player should be forced to sleep, this is why I wrote to PhotriusPyrelus that punishment should be an option for more real hardcore survival. Temporal storm are kind of special event, not occurring regularly every day. Btw. temporal storms are not rewarding either. More I play, less reason in temporal storms I see. Visual distortion from sleep has the ability to annoy much more than temporal storms. As you write, options are always good
  6. Agree. I would decrease some player stats first. I don't really like too much of visual distortion, but once / hour some small distortion could be ok. This has to be behind setting, because it is not suitable for some play styles (less survival, more building/mining).
  7. It looks like sleeping has no extra reason except of skipping the night. Even satiation is dropping faster than if you do nothing. What about make sleeping more useful, get some buffs if you sleep long enough (6-8 hours): bonus hp for the next 16 hours (something like +10%, maybe more if you have better bed) reduces hunger rate for the next 16 hours quicker healing as you sleep etc. You need good sleep before you get on trip

    Class survey

I see class system great to start with, you are born to do some staff better. But you should be able to learn everything else as you progress. Maybe from books you find, or buy from tader, or some else elements... There is "Some sort of character progression system" on the roadmap, so I hope, they will add some nice RPG elements. Please don't add perks like in 7d2d game. It is simple, but ...<bad words>... system (like I get xp from mining and learn how to make space shuttle).
  9. Hi @DArkHekRoMaNT, can you add slovak translation to this mod? sk.json
  10. 1-st game. I spawned in the water, no land visible. I was swimming and found an small island. There were 1 flint and some bushes. I built some shelter and survived the night. Next morning, satiation almost depleted a was swimming again and found big island, but ... almost no bushes, few flint so I could make some tools. But soon I started to starve and eventually died. I respawned in the water again with half the satiation and till I reached the island again I started to starve again. Then I decided to read some guides :D Cattail roots would help me if I knew
  11. We talked about it a little bit in - Room 7x7x7 - still valid? I tried it with 8x8x8 in creative and it looked ok.
  12. The question is, what is the exact configuration of your NB. Try to run: inxi --full Here are official Hardware Requirements. It worked on my old Fujitsu NB with some NV quadro graphics card on KDE Neon 20.04.
  13. Repair and Recycle are what words wee need.
  14. Sorry, I'm not. I learned lua for mintest modding, but I'm not actively a coder.
  15. Learning something is always good
  16. This is something, what devs have to consider. Suggestions are something like brainstorming. Devs must decide (if they read it) if they want to implement it, or what effort does it mean.
  17. Can I capture animals in vanilla? If I see some nice chicken/rooster and want to take him home, what can I do? Driving them home is almost impossible. Creating "traps" from fences is possible, but not extra effective, and I'm not sure, if the animals can despawn or not (drifters can). I saw some mods for if, like Animal cages and Capture Animals, but it could be something in the game itself.
  18. Repairing on anvil could work. Broken tool - make hot - add a bit of metal - bum bum -> repaired tool (with reduces durability) less material needed less time needed less durability with every repair (one day you have to smelt it)
  19. Try to limit "Max FPS" and check if the lag stays. Off course, you can try to reinstall graphic driver, disconnect from internet, turn off windows updates (or fully update your computer), turn off Antivirus and Firewall (temporary), make complete virus check, ... Check the Task manager for "bad" applications (cpu/ram hungry).
  20. You can do it already, there is setting for that. Interesting Idea. If would be nice addition. Respawning in some ancient temple (could support the lore ) Right now you can set big respawn radius (up to 10000) block. This makes returning to your staff almost impossible. Yes corpse is great. Look at the Player Corpse mod. I got the info on my question about despawn time. Yes, this would make gears more usable. For something precious .
  21. I don't know. It depends on your playstyle. You can already set big respawn radius and limit gear respawn uses. In the end it is you decision how you want to play. I prefer not to die, even if it is not effective. Too big Death punishment can be tricky. If you die because of some server lag or just one stupid mistake, than it can annoy you. I would go another way. If you starve, your max hp will decrease (see ideas in previous posts). About the death ... if you stay alive, you could get some bonuses, like extra hp, reduced hunger speed, ... . If you die you loose your bonuses - not a big deal, but you better stay alive

    Food

Yes, dying from starvation is crazy quick. As @Screwy wrote, you can adjust hunger rate in the settings. If you can find Cattails, then cooked cattail roots are a good emergency food (Starter Survival Guide Info). Use spear as you first weapon, it is effective ranged weapon, better if you have 3-4 of them. With sneak (shift) you can approach animals an some of then kill by one shot (haze, chicken) - if you are lucky. Or kill then in the water, they are much slower then you and you can stab them to death.
  23. I just tested it in creative world 1.15.7 and it looks like that hunger rate is not changing, but the body temperature is raising if you are in the room. Even room 8x8x8 works. If you lit the fireplace on, than body temperature is rising quicker. Outside Temperature was unchanged. Interesting is, that I had to change the time manually ("/time set 8") in creative world to get it work, otherwise the body temperature was not changing (maybe it just takes some time). Other settings: /worldconfig bodyTemperatureResistance 10 /worldconfig globalTemperature 0.1 Video (forget to change the language - not a big issue):
  24. Yes, exactly like that Thanx Something like this could be in vanilla as well.
