  1. Sure, but, conversely, you could use the time you'd waste building all that farming/ranching infrastructure to just get better/any armor and immediately crank up your effective hp higher than you'd ever get ACTUAL HP through food hoodoo. And there's no point in doing both, since finding yourself in combat that prolonged at this point in the development should have also instructed you on your limits and you won't be counting on scant slivers of hp to win the day.
  2. It's like In'n'Outers and all their hidden menus and secret sauces. Meanwhile, in the Midwest. "Yeah, lemme get a Burger. Thanks." /leave
  3. and pasta and wtf/e a "carbonara" is
  4. Uh, yeah...lemme gettuh...grande flappa backflip Sasquatch in Purple, two pumps ambergris drizzle of painsauce, halfshake with a cap and a shot of bologna ...sir this is a Qdoba...
  5. Ah, the old D&D Regeneration/Fast Healing trait bypass "does not convert or heal the damage caused by starvation, exposure or other non-hit point based damage" Honestly, I'm not terribly impressed with the Nutrition mechanic, given the strength and number of enemies when you encounter them, you're either dead or the God of War. Two extra HP for eating a hunk of cheese with my porridge isn't going to change that.
  6. Hey man, if it stops me having to listen to this god awful noise, I'm for it.
  7. Also require shadow RNG for drop bear spawn.
  8. Obscene. Downright unnatural.
  9. ...what idyllic paradise are you from?
  10. and while we're at it, planetaries.
  11. No point reinventing the wheel, though. If it's already around, they may as well integrate it for a further mechanic. Alcohol could work, though. Finally give it a vanilla purpose
  12. Also I'd like to build a wreath.
  13. So first we'd have to port the Oils mod into Vanilla. And the Soaps mod.
  14. We have Wattle and Daub, and we have plaster, but we don't have whitewashing, which is the same make-up as the recipe we're using for plaster? Construction using straight plaster is WAY too expensive, given how resource intensive quicklime is to make. Can we get an alternative recipe that uses chalk? because that's the same end product, chemically, as a lime wash cured in the open air. Or at least maybe a plaster-like coating so we can get that distinct old school charm on our buildings? Before anyone says anything, yes, I know there is a mod that reprograms plaster to do just this, i'm saying we should have both recipes for whitewash/plaster and it should be vanilla.

  15. Pine pitch isn't soluble in water though.
  16. This is probably an idea for after the river rework. Can't have seasonal flooding without proper floodplains.
  17. Could even just have it be the constituent parts for the armor, rather than having ot craft a set of armor just to put it on other armor. I'm thinking like the Kurgan's armor from Highlander Like mounted a bear skull onto your pauldron or something. It would certainly give trophy armors a bit more life since we can't even repair them.
  18. That IS how horses work IRL, but i dunno the IQ of an elk.
  19. You mean that yellow-red stuff you have to physically touch to other things to make it go yellow-red? Yes. Note, the physically touching part. Mounting a torch to a wall in my house shouldn't burn it down. Setting thatch alight on purpose would be great, though.
  20. ...it's a torch, not a bonfire on a stick
  21. RE: Team Incentive: ...and what, precisely is the reward for surviving, say, a tornado IRL? @Bruno Willis has a good idea, though: A rework of the effective nature of a temporal storm so it at least has some point rather than yet another Blood Moon, but with no regard for defenses.
  22. This sounds like market research. Who do you work for? My guess is that you're a scout for a VC looking to "get in on the MC killer" and so you're trying to drum up some metrics to take back to your masters so they can hash out a buyout number.
  23. Yes, that was an intended point of the position I placed it. The Early morning Arrow Dodge, I'm used to. However, I haven't WOKEN UP when i start to take this damage. It usually starts just after I stop rest-healing that the bowtorn arrow thunks begin to actually "land" like I'm standing outside, several seconds before the seraph naturally wakes up.
  24. I have an "attic" of the 2x5 space left over from putting a roof on my house. I put an Aged Bed up there, but every time I try to sleep through the night, I end up stuck getting shot in my sleep (we should really auto wake up on damage) and wake up with even less health than I started with! I know we START sleeping lying down which would put me fully inside my roofing, and the bowtorn arrows don't seem to be clipping through the roof tiles, so my only conclusion is that I'm standing up in the bed somewhere in the middle of the night, since when I wake up my guy is on the roof. (waking up on the roof is an expected feature, doing it early is not)
  25. Saltpeter-like ice encasement would be GORGEOUS, though.
