The original picture was created by taking advantage of a lighting bug, one which had darkened the city below the castle. So it is not really possible to achieve the same light balance any more, because a contrast after effect was used to take advantage of the bug. But here are a few recent variations, and perhaps you could say which one should be re-shot and improved upon? Instead of the bug I have to rely on atmospherics and gamma balance, then use external filters (as was done in the last picture).
