A simple request pertaining to dogs.

When dogs are implemented I am begging you to please PLEASE make them pet-able and make it so you can play with them, so many games include dogs that you can’t pet or play with and it’s heartbreaking.

I once went to this zoo that was supposed to be amazing, but they only had one animal on display: a dog. It was a Shih Tzu.

@Luke_ksmith, I think it's a fine idea, and I trust it would be implemented well in VS, as opposed to the cheesy heart emoji thing of games like Stardew and Portia.

I just have an almost irrepressible habit of lapsing into inappropriate humor. Aren't you glad you don't have to come over to my place for Thanksgiving?

Same, plus I'm pretty sure we can already pet some other animals. Stands to reason that dogs would be pettable too. I'd wager they could also offer some utility to the player as well, aside from just attacking enemies. A small pack could let them carry some stuff, and you could probably have a whistle or something that lets them go retrieve certain things. Perhaps they could chase down rabbits and other small creatures, and bring the carcass back for you?
