Is anyone else experiencing this in VS 1.22.3?

Since updating to Vintage Story 1.22.3, I've noticed a strange issue with the hotbar selection using the mouse wheel.

The problem is not that the wheel is scrolling two slots at once. Instead, the game seems to skip every other slot entirely. For example:

• If I'm on slot 1, scrolling only cycles through slots 3, 5, 7, and 9.

• If I'm on slot 2, scrolling only cycles through slots 4, 6, 8, and 0.

The skipped slot is never selected, even briefly. It's as if the hotbar is divided into odd and even slots.

Has anyone else encountered this issue in version 1.22.3? If so, were you able to find a fix?

I encountered this in an earlier version (a much earlier version). I fiddled around with mouse wheel sensitivity, which seemed to help to some extent. However it finally resolved itself when I replaced the mouse. I've not had the issue repeat since then.

I've never had an issue with the mouse wheel causing selection of hotbar places to skip.  I have an issue of scrolling to fast, but that's a skill issue not an equipment issue.

I have not encountered it, but if you have a spare mouse definitely try it. Do not get fooled by the price of your hardware. I fixed expensive stuff with off the shelf/salvaged parts and they worked without issue quite often and it blows my mind how consistently those high performance switches break. First I would try cleaning your scroll wheel encoder with some aqua vitae and blowing it out.

You could try checking checking the scroll speed of your mouse. I've noticed VS is alittle jumpy with inputs at times.

If you're using windows I can suggest:
1. Search for "cursor" in windows start menu
2. Open "Change the mouse pointer display or speed"
3. Open the 4th tab called "wheel"
4. Set your vertical scrolling to 3

I don't know if that will for sure work but I've not had that issue and mine is set to 3.

Had the issue myself. Especially with the new mouse. Changing the sensitivity does resolve it (somewhat)
