Server has 10-20 players at all times almost. Sometimes when we find a corpse it has no player name for it, says exactly this:    's corpse

Suggestion:

Option to despawn corpse after some time passed.

This feature can allow vanilla-like on-death drops despawn times (i.e. 10min), while other drops despawns fast (i.e. 30 sec).

Rei had it set ups the waypoint right an' leaves a corpse wif her name... but she couldn't finds a way to gets her stuff back short ofs using /Returnthings. The corpse didn't seem to respond to eithers right ors left-click.

EDIT: Don't worries, Rei figureds it out: The particles that show right-clicking is doings something an' you should holds it don't appear ins complete darkness.

Столкнулся с багом. Если труп спавнится на месте прошлой гибели, то он заменяет собой прошлый с полным уничтожением предыдущего.

Faced a bug. If a corpse spawns at the place of its previous death, then it replaces the previous one with the complete destruction of the previous one.

Strange. Corpse is entity. I'll try to reproduce it, but maybe the new corpse has move higher or lower and you didn't notice it?  If it's not difficult, can you send me the logs if they remained or if you do it again?

I haven't updated mods to 1.15 yet, so they may not work properly. I will deal with this soon.

Is the “returnthings” feature configurable? We want to add the mod to The Wilderlands server, but the option to simply “return” your items to yourself via a command is not an option for a server that aims to be more immersive and challenging.

By default, this is only available to players with creative rights. 

You can change the required rights to any others in the config. This command gives things from a saved file. It works like a backup, not a game function.

An ability to set a player's corpse to despawn after a certain number of minutes or even days would be nice to have.

Also, if the max number of corpses a player can save on death is reached, does the oldest unclaimed corpse despawn?
Sorry if this has been answered somewhere already. I scanned the forum conversation but did not spot this question being asked.

This only affects death data files that are used by the /returnthings command.

I’ll think about it. Someone has even suggested something like this before. I am rewriting a lot in mod now, so I won't add anything new)

- Added a log for the destruction / collection of a corpse
- Added EntityId to corpse creation log
- Added DebugMode config value to enable chat log

An additional log should also help track down an error with missing corpses

could you make corpses disappear after a couple of in-game days? or add an option to be able to let them destroy themselves after x days? not every player is always picking up that corpse and this results in corpses lying around in the wilderness, caves etc forever. can add to the atmosphere but can also get too much over time.

- Free a corpse for everyone after time (240 in-game hours by default, configurable)
- Added corpse creation time to entity info
- Added a new config value for corpse interaction time (3 seconds by default)
- Place a corpse in the center of a block, should fix corpses climbing up the walls
