SatinLeader00 Posted April 16, 2022 Report Posted April 16, 2022 While I understand why the camera drift is in place for effect, it can be very nauseating to watch your view pan by itself when on low health. Thankfully I don't get as sick as a couple other people I know, but they are extremely susceptible to motion sickness. It would be nice to have a toggle in the menu like for view bobbing to aid with not getting sick. 12
Maelstrom Posted April 19, 2022 Report Posted April 19, 2022 I have become one such person. Usually my susceptibility to this kind of motion sickness isn't bad, but Once or twice I've had to quit when the low health camera drift has triggered my motion sickness. Would prefer not having to take Zofran just to play this game. 5

I'm glad that there are accessibility features available, but the camera drift is really steep and is not good for motion sick prone gamers. 1

Which is great and all, but that also removes the beautiful dynamic movement in the plants when the wind blows. I feel that would be better as two separate toggles instead of linked to one that specifically talks about the foliage. 1 1
l33tmaan Posted April 20, 2022 Report Posted April 20, 2022 I'm not trying to detract from your suggestion at all, but if you need immediate relief I recommend checking out the Accessibility Tweaks mod. 2 1

l33tmaan Posted April 20, 2022 Report Posted April 20, 2022 Well, you should let @ApacheTech know so they can try and include that in the mod!

It's been added to the backlog for the next update. No guarantees; I don't know how messy the vanilla code is yet. 3 1

setne550 Posted April 30, 2022 Report Posted April 30, 2022 Good suggestion. It might be very helpful for people who had motion sickness I suppose.
SatinLeader00 Posted May 2, 2022 Author Report Posted May 2, 2022 @ApacheTech I just want to say that your mod is amazing and I really appreciate all the work and thought you have put into this. It makes the game so much more comfortable to play now. I no longer feel uneasy while at low health. 1
ApacheTech Posted May 12, 2022 Report Posted May 12, 2022 Not a problem. Check out my other mods as well. I focus on making Quality of Life updates to the game, that make playing the game much more intuitive, and natural. As a game you can play every day, rather than as a full immersive experience.

I think I do play with a few of your other mods, they are great. Love what you do!

Which other mods? The only one I can find here is a Waypoints Extension one which seems to be gone from the Vintage Story mods site. =-\

griff_inw Posted December 9, 2025 Report Posted December 9, 2025 i also definitely think this should be a setting added, just started playing and the moving messes with my eyes a bit too much
