Just adding my voice to the consensus here, the game needs its systems/mechanics worked on in a major way before more content is added, if only because building "story locations" on an unfinished foundation WILL prove to be a major problem in the future. Personally, I'm most interested in world generation (rivers, mountain ranges, slopes, valleys, getting rid of paraboloid hills and weird cliffs with regularly spaced edge walkways) and seeing some work on a Distant Horizons functionality (I don't care snow interferes with it, this is such a killer feature you need to figure it out, besides it would likely help the janky seasonal snow mechanics in unloaded chunks too), but also: The Discord suggestions forum is full of good ideas. The ModDB is full of good ideas. Please, the game feels like it's stagnating or developing in directions most of the audience doesn't enjoy.

It would be really nice for discoverability if the mixing bowl recipes were in the handbook.

Yes, farmland should need to be rehoed each time it bears crops or lies fallow. Yet again, TFC+ has got it mostly correct.

There should really be a distinction between javelins and spears, with spears actually useful in melee - long reach, significant knockback, best primary weapon for dedicated fighting, maybe balanced by minimum hit distance, long draw animation, unwieldiness in tight corridors. As is, they are just annoying earlygame weapon.

Please work on world generation (oceans, plausible mountains, consistency with dirt gravity...)

Maybe the clouds shouldn't render the faces that connect to other parts of the cloud, that's what giving them a lot of the jarring unpolished look. Make them a solid mass, not a loose pile of cubes.

Yeah, better question would be "Does the game need more of more creative monsters?" and the answer is a resounding YES. I mean, with how hard spelunking is, you could play for days before meeting anything else but a drifter and the occasional wolf. There should be dark forest non-beast enemies, there should be shallow cave monsters, there should be deep water monsters etc... -
The worldgen needs to be tweaked honestly, the hills look too much like some math function and not enough like hills.

Wow, that looks very hardcore. Not saying I hate it (is this inspired by crop mechanics in TFC+, which I love?) but it'll need to be rebalanced for custom month/day lengths before I consider trying it. I see great potential but it might be hard to balance so it does feel fun and not unfair, rooting for you!
