Nothing that I can find changed in game files and code at least.

Early game inventory management is rough (which I know is the point, duh), two more animals having a distinct hide type and each take up 1 slot of inventory, while having 2 new hat recipes, clogs up already small space, but they are technically a small hide. I think it's a little annoying having to throw them away just because they're not the same type of item and my inventory is packed with other goodies. If this doesn't happen I get it 'cause soaked fox and raccoon hides lose their purpose altogether, so yeah. ¯\(ツ)/¯

My entire quern is flashing constantly, I try not to look at it so it doesn't give me a headache. The stop stays still while a ghost top turns and z fights with the stationary top. I need to spend some more game time to confirm; while not even close to debilitating, it is annoying. Curious if others are/are not seeing this. 2

Unfortunately no way to stack fox/small/raccoon hide before that at the moment save for someone making a mod to craft them into small hides eg. in the way you suggest. For earlygame hunting trips I can only advise sticking to either raccoons/foxes at a time and chasing the others into a pit for later killing if possible. And for just one or two hides ground storage in a cellar should work if reed chests aren't an option. 1

I confirm, and it is quite annoying, since my government PC barely handles the version compared to the previous ones. I thought it would be a matter of the pre-release, but it seems it has reached the final version. I imagine it will be refined in the subsequent more stable versions, along with the non-Euclidean shape of the windmills and other minor defects. 1
Neutralized Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago After an update I have issues with huge 10 seconds game freezes, like don't know what cause it because it occurs like once per 10 minutes, once per hour, sometimes 3 times in a row. It's like overhalming my CPU or RAM because, it also stops youtube music. Weird, just don't know what causes it. It happens unregullary, might happen while I'm running or just standing and doing nothing. 1
