If they introduce a more interesting version I'm ok with that, but I've NOT been a fan of the combat overhaul mod. To me vintage story is mostly avoiding combat where possible. I would be ok seeing some expansion on a more immersive experience, like the blood trails, and what Salty was doing with seeing grass and flowers move when animals are in them, but not the total system overhaul. I am also very much against resources being allocated to a combat overhaul. Not remotely interested. In fact, I doubt I will even update the game when it comes out until all mods are working with the update with zero issues.
