junawood Posted December 15, 2021 Report Posted December 15, 2021 I have only found the "Loose rusty gears" in ruins twice, and they are obviously not the same as the normal gears. Are they just a forgotten item from very old versions, or are they supposed to be a really special item with potential use in the future? @Tyron And two versions of the messed up tooltip in the picture. The one on the bottom is what is used to be like pre 1.15.
Streetwind Posted December 15, 2021 Report Posted December 15, 2021 They're supposed to be something that you break, upon which it drops regular rusty gears. How did you even get them in your inventory? Are you playing Malefactor, by any chance?
junawood Posted December 15, 2021 Author Report Posted December 15, 2021 You mean the gears lying around in some ruins? I found these here in chests, not on the ground. And nope, I play commoner.
Streetwind Posted December 15, 2021 Report Posted December 15, 2021 Well, try placing them down and see if you can break them to get a proper gear out of them?
junawood Posted December 15, 2021 Author Report Posted December 15, 2021 (edited) Why should I destroy something that rare to get something I have more than enough of? The question is, if @Tyron wants them to be in the game like that. Edited December 15, 2021 by junawood 1
Omega Haxors Posted December 16, 2021 Report Posted December 16, 2021 It's probably a bug. They're intended to be loot table blocks like the chests.
Maelstrom Posted December 16, 2021 Report Posted December 16, 2021 Those items will now be unique items like alpha leaves in Minecraft. 1
