  1. I would very much like a customizable title menu, at least in terms of background image/aesthetics, specifically because the immersive scene zooming/panning of the background while going through the settings gives me near-instant nausea.
  2. Hi! I don't usually get motion sickness from video games, but something about the main/title menu's zooming and moving background makes for a surprisingly nauseating combo. Even if the background images are replaced with a flat color, the particle effects still get to me. The specifics of the mod's implementation aren't super important; the only critical thing is that the background scene should not move when I move my mouse cursor while on the title screen (equivalent to holding alt in-game, though that keybind doesn't seem to work in the title menu). Thankfully this isn't an issue in gameplay itself, but going through the singleplayer world creation settings is kind of awful. Potential options that would work: Animated background that does not pan or zoom (fixed camera viewpoint) Static background without particle effects "Full-screen" configuration menus that do not display an animated background while open (can provide sketch if you'd prefer) Etc. I haven't looked into modding much myself, but I could help out with the coding or even do a big chunk of it, depending on complexity-- it's just that, for obvious reasons, I would prefer not to test-run the mod myself until it's fully functional.
  3. This mod popped up pretty recently and seems to fit the bill? https://mods.vintagestory.at/territorialpause
  4. If this is implemented, I would hope it's a toggle in the settings somewhere, because right-clicking to go back is almost never what I want (I would use it for trying to find more information and going back instead would confuse the heck out of me). Actually... handbook-specific settings/preferences could be really useful, especially if more features are added to it.
  5. This seems to have been copy-pasted from a Discord server, and so a handful of the rules aren't quite applicable as-is. Also, is there a way to make this visible at a top level/in other subforums? I had to guess and check a few times to find the subforum this etiquette guide was in.
