  1. In desperation for news, I checked the Twitter (X is not a real website) for the game, and they actually have a post about fishing with a couple images of Tyron holding a fish in game. They also have a couple previews of the prototype of the new smithing system, and a trippy effect for eating certain mushrooms.
  2. It’s an impossibly thin donut; they make them like that in some places, but they’re not that great. Really crunchy.
  3. Bro, it’s shaped like a donut. Calm down.
  4. REAL seraphs eat BURNT bread!

    Tyrone???

Whoa, man. At least give a trigger warning or something.
  6. Honestly, if there were different kinds of spice that do some of the different things that people have brought up here, that’d work nicely.
  7. Maybe a boost to body heat generation?
  8. Just wondering what fruit you guys use most in your main save. Currently, I’m eating mostly cranberries, but I’m also growing some apple trees for next year.
  9. That must’ve been a fun discussion “Yeah, uh steel’s made of uh, Iron, right?” “Yeah and that other stuff. I think it starts with a c?” “Oh yeah, corundum, that orange stuff. Right.” “Dude what?”
  10. As stated above. What do you think the devs have been working on? What features do you think they prioritized?
  11. What land cover percentage do you use? The default 97.5-or-whatever%, or a lower number?
  12. This is aspirational. How long did it take to find?
  13. I was thinking, and I realized that a lot of problems could be solved by adding a “craftable” filter to the handbook; it would be displayed next to the search bar, and when enabled, would have the search feature only display items that can be crafted in survival.
  14. I have to imagine that some uses for standard twine would be off-limits for string made of offal, namely linen, bomb fuses, sewing kits, and the plumb & square, as I couldn’t imagine those things made from such a material. Bowstrings would be a great use for such cord, though, as would the drawstring that is presumably being added to linen sacks and mining bags.
  15. That’s the potato blight zone. If you try to grow potatoes in it, they will die.
  16. Also, a way to use conch shells as horns, maybe with a recipe close to the bone flute, would be nice.
  17. As stated in title. I'm not sure how one would play the instruments, but as strings for such instruments were commonly made from animal sinews, bushmeat would be an appropriate ingredient, providing both a sink for bushmeat and a new and interesting way to waste away the time.
  18. That’s actually a pretty good idea. I hope the devs see this and have a look into it at some point.
  19. Isn’t the underground farming penalty based on depth BSL? If so, it’d have little to no bearing on using a cellar for farming.
  20. That doesn’t seem right. There’s tree-specific information on the various temperature thresholds for all of the fruit trees in the handbook, so I’d check there before taking the wiki at face value. Also, it occurs to me that translating forum posts is a great way to learn another language, as long as the poster uses decent grammar and syntax.
  21. My best guess is that there’s some recipe that takes a lead plate and a lead rod, so they had the metal for both pieces hot in their hotbar. As for solving this issue, I make a habit of making sure things for different purposes stay separate in my inventory, but the inventory system they have in-game isn’t always conducive to that.
  22. Is there any way to repair the bear armor? Or is it not possible? I’d rather not go and kill a bear if I don’t have to.
