  1. Yet another skill suggestion for "early" miner branch: "Mine supports" - chance of cave in lowered by 33/66/99%
  2. Uhmmm... Imho, trading possible without certificates and third person. (I'm really can't understand, why man in the middle needed here. For exchange security? There is a ways how to make secure deals without third person involved. To make deal safe? Player 1 (or his friends) can kill Player 2 after signing bill. And still have label "trustworthy". Also, issuing certificates via command are not player friendly.) Something like: - interact with player (rmb with rusty gear, as example), - trade window opened, for both, with your main inventory, two trading inventories (bying and selling) and two buttons (confirm and cancel). - You put items, you want to barter, into selling inventory, and can view other player's offer into bying inventory. You can't take anything from bying inventory. - If you agree, you press "confirm". Then both, selling and buying inventory are locked for both players, until deal confirmed by both sides, or canceled by any side. - If deal doubleconfirmed, then each side receive their bought goods. If deal cancelled, then each side receive only their offer. Not sure, can be such interaction tracked in player-to-player version, but, if not, block interaction (when both player need to interact with trading block) can be used instead.
  3. Mod idea: Some kind of stone polishing set, which allows turn plain rocks to their polished version "inplace", without need of breaking-crafting-placing back each block. Just point to stone surface, hold action button, and voila - you have surface polished. May be, with some selectable modes (1*1, 2*1, 2*2, 1*3, 2*3, 3*3 e.t.c). If i can polish stone surfaces irl, then why i cant do such things in VS?
  4. Any item movement between this slot and trader can trigger a client crash. Not only rusty gears. Also, there is a bug with this slots and items with durability. Place item with durability not full. Replace this item with no durability (rusty gears, or soil, or anything else). And you have durability indicator on item with no durability. Trading such item can trigger crash
  5. Another two suggestions for skills: Survival branch - "hardy". Increased cold tolerance. May be need, on lvl2/3, as pre-requisite some skills (specialisations?) from other branches. Farming branch - "Apiarist (?)" - bees not aggressive towards player. Harvested skep, (without breaking), instant become populated. Upd: and one more, a bit weird, suggestion for survival(?): You have small chance, to find alive baby-animal, when harvesting corpse of female animal. Not only pigs/goats/rabbits, but predators also
  6. Another suggestion for survival branch: Improved water vidion skill (" Fisheye"?) For less foggy an more brighter underwater.

  8. AFAIK, this coords are coords of last breaked block, not coords of ore, and used only for display different text in output lines. It is impossible to see is there new output or not, when chat window filled with identical lines
  9. Unfortunately, i dont know way to stable reproduce this problem. Client can run hours without any problems. But sometimes, you break random rock and immediately ctd without any clientside logs. Reload, continue game session and soon have another crash. Not sure, is it related or not, but each time crash occurs inside claimed area, block was plain rock (granite or bauxite, not cracked one) and (not sure really) mined block was above player. Another suggestion: May be this problem linked with another one - when you end game session with multiplayer server, but not relaunch game completely, many skills starts wirking a bit incorrect. As example - Blacksmith skill show no additional durability and item description have no info about quality, cooking pot allow to put more, then 6 items per slot, but cooking process dont started e.t.c. It seems, some variables not initialised properly without full relaunch. UPD: i also have inventory tweaks installed. But my pickaxe have more then half of durability bar and, definitely, not broke when game crashed

  11. AFAIR, corpse can be configured as "free for all", or "owner only, but free for all after x days". But not all servers use this mod. And not all servers have pvp enabled

  14. Pit kilns can set on fire surrounding blocks. If this blocks are flammable, and fire spreading is allowed (default settings) all around can burn to ashes. I guess, your pit kilns set on fire nearest peat deposit. Located exactly where you have your crater now.

  16. May be i just not lucky, but i can't find flat areas in 1.18 worlds I want to create world with 50% land coverage and 75% scale. Many water and big islands. But all generated terrain are wery rough - tiny hills (~7-10 block wide and 7-10 block high), tiny ravines e.t.c. It is, literally, very hard to find relatively flat spot more then 25 blocks wide. Especially near water. I checked map around spawn point (up to 4000 blocks away), but still not find anything like old 1.17 plains. Only hills, mountains and noisy landscape May be it is a bug. But, may be, i just use wrong settings in worldgen. Dies anyone experienced same problems?
  17. Spam can be dealt with message rate limiting. May be one alarm per 20s is enough. For batch cooking only first "Ready!" alarm is imortant, imho. And, if it possible to alarm player when all nuggets in crucible are melted...
  18. Can i make two suggestions for xskills? - move some abilities (like scout, on the road, steeplechaser and similar) from survival/survival branch to new survival/athletics branch. May be, bind xp for this branch to running/jumping activity, if it possible. - Since firepits now have "owner" - play audible alarm (ding?) and send chat message to owner, (if he is online), when cooking (for pot only?) is finished. May be, even, as separated skill from cooking branch.
  19. Better ruins have some ruins with mob spawners. It can be high tier drifters, or sawblade locusts. So - you definitely pick one such ruin as home.
  20. Hi. May be my question are bit... stupid, but i cannot figure out, how to reserve multiplayer slot on server. I have tiny, whitelisted, 8 slot server rented. And i wish to reserve one slot for myself, and leave 7 slots available to all whitelisted players. How i can do this?
  21. Have a suggestion for another useful skill for survival branch. Steeplechase Tier 1 allows increase step height to 1.2 (same as StepUp mod) Tier 2 increase step height to 2.1 blocks. (Trained human can easy climb over 2m fence, so, imho, trained seraph can do this too) I check this setup (with increased step height) by running intensively through mountain landscape. It is, literally, give you much more freedom of movement and increase travel speed.
  22. Items, dropped on ground, can consume significant amount of server performance. And when players blasts tons of quartz, mining gold and silver, or dig mineshafts (especially with modded tools, like mining hammers e.t.c.), they generate huge amount of garbage (stones, quartz chunks, e.t.c.). So... We need some wearable item - "Great Miners Belt Of Void (c) (tm) (r) (May be different tiers, with different filtering abilities. Even something like "magnet" enchant). All drops, defined (via config? Or it is possible to have subinventory, which allows to put inside samples of filtered objects?) will be annihilated on pickup. Or move to void. Or to dev/null. But not back to ground, or into precious player inventory. Unfortunately, my C# coding skills are... miserable. So, may be, someone can implement this idea. I believe, many server owners (and even singleplayers) will thank you many times.

Another bug with strong back inventory (may be linked with crash, i mention before) : When i move tool, with durability not at 100%, next item, put in this slot, have durability indicator from moved item. On the picture: i move scissors one slot left. They start show full durability, but polished rock, autopicked from ground have durability bar "from scissors".
  24. Found small exploit. How to disassemble locust without corresponding skill: 1) Kill locust(s); 2) Kill drifter close to dead locust(s); 3) Start harvest from drifter, and quickly move crosshair to dead locust body. Do not release button!. 4) Congratulations - you gather metal bits from locust.
