  11. I base all values in Expanded Foods on the vanilla saturation values and various multipliers I pulled out of my butt or derived from vanilla. Chopping food and tenderizing meat, for example, gives a +10% nutrition boost. Food that are in meals have 50% more nutrition than cooking them in the firepit (that's from vanilla). Stuff like that. If squeezing more juice into bottles would make them feel better and more worth using, then I'm not afraid to do so.
  12. I totally see where you're coming from, but I think the issue is that you can't stack liquid containers together once they have something in them. Pretty sure that's vanilla behavior. However, I could make liquid portions smaller, so you could fit 10 portions of juice in a bottle instead of just 4.

  16. You make it sound like they're always going to be global, forever. Some VS worlds get real big, I'm not sure I see the strengths of global storms over localized ones.

  18. Don't worry, it'll be ready for 1.15... eventually. I'll release a version that updates a lot of food to be usable in the new clay oven, and then follow up with a version that actually adds new food and utilizes the new crops.

  21. Jam is a funny thing. I've wanted to utilize it in Expanded Foods, but since it's a meal and not an item or even a block... that makes it a lot harder to take advantage of.

  23. I think the modifiers are WAY too far, as well. It seems extremely arbitrary and pointless to include. Seriously, I get to iron age and lose HP? No thanks, bro.
  24. I like the idea of actively doing something to help out, but I like the thought of setting up magic/temporal wards more than repairing walls. Dashing around the base to keep weird Lovecraft effigies on fire or buffing other players through sacrificing drifter corpses they leave behind would be neat.

This reminds me of an idea I saw recently - something along the lines of a 'luxury' or 'sanity' mechanic, where having nice food or sitting in chairs or decorating your base gives you buffs that increase your maximum temporal stability or make it fall slower or whatever. If one way to avoid the danger of storms is to make your base nicer and more appealing, then that would appeal to more 'domestic' players that don't enjoy fighting stuff.
