  1. How its implemented now is fine, its a advanced metal and what you suggest is already there with the simpler ones. Stepping up to Iron production takes some investment and once you have invested into a good Forge set up having blooms is no hassle (Helve Hammer life)

  3. What it looks like around where im going to be ~ going to see a lot of that terrain so i'd prefer it to be nice.
  4. Getting swarmed by laser guided snipers who break your stuff no thanks. If I want to play 7days to die I will play the actual game 7 days to die.
  5. Id rather see all the existing metals/ alloys get some improvements in use and reason before anything else is added
  6. Ok. Meanwhile, I think it would be a neat thing to have but not a huge need as its very easy to store wood under cover anyway. An actual need for drying out would be more if it was a factor of if its green timber cut fresh from a tree or dead (and would need dead trees added)
  7. Personal Dirt bunker and do something else for a while and then when the storm is over go for a run to clear the local zone you were in and then back to whatever it was i was doing

  9. I do whole separate farms for Flax to to ramp its production up instead of being tied to the Mixed veg rotation. Only when starting out is it in with anything else.
  10. Tend to do without Armour till I can get farming going well and the Flax farm in particular as i prefer tailored Gambeson overall. Before the change to armour in terms of being able to repair it I didn't see the effort in making the heavier Metal ones, post change its a long term project to consider but still will preferably rock the Gambeson for general wear
  11. Starting a new world you can delay the onset of Rifts/drifters by a margin. Natural hostile creatures are just there and a not ramped up or such. a forest start is going to be a big challenge compared to a plains etc
  12. Unless its changed again in the later iterations the spawn rate seems in 18.1 to be significantly higher than 1.16 ~ i have 9 trees in a small area of forest that ive found and overall when exploring a lot more about the place.
  13. Vanilla wise its fine but there is also a good mod that lets you recoup the "lost bits" and also lets you recycle the broken tools somewhat.
  14. Even without gravity on its useful to have and mark as different from the surrounding landscape

    I wish I could encourage the grass to grow back (and shrubs I wish) ~ had a bit of a incident with a pit kiln and the plain i live near is very plain now
  18. I'd love to see Water mills but with some way in place that it has to be Naturally generated flowing water rather than player placed which is too easy to do in terms of making water generation happen. How that would work I have no idea.
  19. Candles are for placing or using to make Lanterns (mouse over and press H on the candle to see the recipe). The Torch holders make Torches not burn out and are good in places you want to have a fire source readily available like your Kitchen or Forge. You can also make your own eventually when you have the right materials and set up.

  21. Would be good for there to be a reason to use a raft, there is no point to it presently in my mind if i can just swim to where ever with no concern
  22. Not everything need to be useful, just having it in the world for variety is good enough
  23. Convenience of material in one place ~ anything i use a lot of and have a lot of gets a crate ~ Sticks, grass, logs, dirt, clays, stones to name a few. Current world i have only 2 made crates and 16 aged ones ive found.
  24. Often. my current storage room is lined with aged crates ive found just waiting for me to fill them, The one of the server i play on has a crate for each rock type we have found plus many more things we gather and use in bulk
