I think your issue might be fixed in the newest update, something about cellars on chunk borders.

Try making a different cellar in another location. I moved my cellar a few blocks and it stopped having issues. Also double check your door isnt left open.

This happened to me and I believe it was because I had left the door open, which removes the cellar bonus.

The wiki says "Chickens will spawn in light levels 12 and higher, at temperatures down to -2, in areas with as little as 0.32 rainfall. They spawn in groups that average 4 individuals, but can include many more."

Animals should respawn anywhere above ground without artificial light.

A server wide version would be nice too, to see who killed the most wolves, mined the most metal.

The hammer will jam up if attached to 2 windmills like that, I think the forces are cancelling eachother. When I tested using the big gear to combine multiple rotors they didnt cancel but they did seize up regularly and were slower on average than a single rotary. The only way is to build taller and limit the amount of axles.

I think barrels and crops also will progress without being loaded, I can't think of anything you actually have to be around to progress.

It was 12 days then. But I havent heard anyone say that grass affects farmland for sure so I guess I just left my nutrients super low.

All winter, but I'm not sure what the default month is set to.

My field didnt regenerate either, but I'm wondering if letting the grass grow over it affected it? Sort of like weeds

I think the conclusion here is that the greenhouse is simply not ready. If you can't grow crops without it at your current base, then you shouldn't have built a farm there to begin with. I too am hoping that it will provide a minimum temperature through winter, or be necessary in growing a specific plant.

Command to enable alt propick /worldConfig propickNodeSearchRadius 6 and I believe the F key switches the modes.

For me to get my first bronze tools, I had to pan through a stack of gravel. Additionally, exploring caves can yield lots of metal. In order to use the propick effectively, I recommend enabling the alternate propick mode. The default mode tells you the likelyhood of an ore being within the triangle (after testing 3 points) and the alternate mode tells you if there are any ore actually there within 6 blocks after testing 1 point.

I went through the portal twice, no change. Tried setting up a translocator in the position that I teleported to, but it just connect to a different translocator. If no one else is having this problem I'll just assume it's a 1 in a million chance and forget about it.

Has anyone else gone through a translocator and found no translocator on the other side? I have gone through several translocators now and there's always a working one to take me back, but this time there wasn't, even when I checked in creative mode. Is this a bug or a risk when using these machines?

If I'm right about the game finding a link and generating the terrain on the other side, the process should be as fast as your computer is. For my laptop it takes about 3 minutes, but a faster computer might take 30 seconds. It will tell you when its done if you just hang around.

Did it say anything when repaired? It should say something like warping space time. I believe that's when it finds a suitable link, it takes a few minutes.
