Here's one I took while out exploring that I quite liked!

I really like the gradient of green -> orange as the mountain rises.

I really loved living across the lake from this mountain. I accidentally deleted my savegame so it's gone forever. The very top had a camp of 3 traders on it.

Terry Pratchett's Discworld is based on that Indian cosmology.  Fun reads from what I'm told, 41 books indicate he was pretty good.

41 in the discworld series? I heard good things, but god damn. That sounds more like everything he wrote

World height 320, far north in winter

I ventured there yet again - this time in early summer. That's funny, because I've passed by this landmark like five or six times already, but never have I ever put my nose inside this cave. Crazy that it's not a dead end I was always imagining it to be

Awesome, @7embre! I no longer like to build ladders up to a floating mill. I'd much rather have a cliff face I can build a path to run up, and still have my fields at sea level. (Not really a choice anymore in Wilderness.) That's exactly the kind of thing I look for. And most amazingly, craptons of glacier ice to make greenhouses.

I play without map, so count on recognizable landmarks. Here's what I "settled" for in this game. The only direction I can't see this from a long ways away is NE-E, but the cliff on the right side (E) has an obvious marker right on top. I think the top my my selected spot is about 160, plus or minus. A ladder at the very top to where the top of my mill will be has a glorious 360 degree view, i.e., a lantern on top will be visible from a long, long way. And that ridge on the right side (E) is only about 15 tiles wide at the base, so it will be easy to tunnel through.

What is that thing anyway? Some kind of a microscope? A laser? That thing from the original Tron that digitized Jeff Bridges? Oh, wait. Maybe that's the thing from Innerspace. Or maybe Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.

I always love the lush green grass.  Maybe Etho from that other game will give VS a try sometime.  There is that homage (EthoSlab) to him in this game after all.  At least there used to be, I think Tyron might have taken it out.  😭

Wasn't there some remark from him a while back about potentially trying Vintage Story, but wanting to wait until it's closer to being finished?

Food is still quirky. In my last game, I was on my 5th day of not eating. Which was a little disappointing. I thought I'd change things up and make cooking pot etc. on day 1 as soon as I found both peat and clay. Then never got to use them. Got struck by lightning on May 6. It's not nice to fool Mother Nature...
