Agreed.  A lot of Tyron's decisions are made with performance in mind.  TOBG may have a lot of stuff but it's at the cost of overloading a game that can't handle all the demands.  There've been mods to that game for AGES to improve it's performance.

I do like the small fish and insects as particles, Tyron could probably still make them catch-able through fishnets and stuff. I imagine when he gets around to adding more fish variety the big fish will have models.

I expect the fish "particles" are just a place holder until actual fish are modelled and what not.

Maybe. I would think the particles are a great permanent answer. They are persistent and become the "spawner" for a real fish entity.

Can we have the stats of the bear hide armore by the People having the pré realise please ?

It’s about the weakest armor in the game, BUT it does provide some warmth & it looks cool.

EDIT: actually, it’s higher tier than wood based armor and has a higher % protection than jerkin

I'm not sure you even need a model, at least not for the tiny fish. You can probably just slap a fish.png into the texture spot, maybe tweak how they move as a school a bit, and call it a day. An old Ecco the Dolphin game I have for PS2 had schools of fish that were essentially just that...mobile .pngs

Sorry. Missed this.

I believe they are all -4% healing, -2% hunger, -3% walk speed, 300 durability, 50% damage reduction, Tier 1, and flat damage -0.5.

Oh, and it gives you a degree of warmth. Let me know if I missed a stat there somewhere, but I think that's all of them. At least all I remember right at the moment. It's actually not a bad armor, considering the bear also gives you fat so you can prepare the pelts, and the bones for the armor. All you have to scrounge up are the ropes.

The passive bear armors (sun & panda) give 40% defense.

Not bad for a very early armor

Healing items now heal over time instead of instantly

Cool, hopefully integrates well with Mortal Damage because that would actually be a really interesting interaction. If not, i'll patch it so it does.
Makes sense because bleeding doesn't stop instantly just because you put a bandage on. It does take a little bit of time before you get its full effect.

EDIT: Works flawlessly. Well done.

Oven doesn't work in 1.21.pre1; it just heat the conatins for the max temperature and remains at this point forever.

At least spotted it for the every pie I tried. Simple Bread is baked normally.

Switched off all mods - no changes.

This issue should be patched in pre2, there’s a bug report in for this already.

Ever since I started playing on 1.14 iron and steel spears have been a delusion, pipe dream or nightmare, depending on which *ahem* entity you attempt to communicate with.

Has anyone else noticed a decrease in animal spawns (except it seems chickens) in this update? I have discovered 9 traders and have seen 3 bears, a lot fewer wolves and pigs than previously.  Although I have seen a few more deer than usual. Am I just very unlucky? With this in mind, I have doubts as to whether I will ever even find an elk to tame.......

Yeah, Someone's doing a bad job, not gonna lie. It's really getting overwhelming for me.

Bad RNG.  I've had similar luck in 1.20 and earlier versions.

He did die in prison. I distinctly remember the riots.

This topic made me curious because I don't remember anything and hadn't heard of the Mandela effect. I found interviews/tributes from several US politicians following his death in 2013, but this one with Bill Clinton mentions Mandela's time in prison in the context of other events. tl;dr Mandela did not die in prison.
