this is another thread that was kind of looking into it, perhaps a hint can be found?

feel like its intended behavior for the elk to agro on the player that hits it. having endured such agro, i've hold off dismounting for awhile to let the elk ctfd if unmounted, using the bone whistle pauses the agro just long enough to mount the beast (don't hit the elk, lol)

afaik, the next location to be generated when finding the bit by the skeleton bones, is the Nadiya Village. (and no mansions that i know of, unless the game is referring to the village as a mansion type stucture, idk) kinda sounds like something was in the way of the nadiya village generating maybe? if thats the case, there is a way to manually regen the story area documented in the wiki (but it sounds like you have view that bit already) ref: trouble shooting section

Lost items after swapping from baskets to backpacks?
idiomcritter replied to Vandle's topic in Questions
welcome to the forum @Vandle just curious, did you happen to try swapping back in the baskets? I only ask because backpacks, baskets act as storage and can actually be placed on the ground containing what ever was in inventory. (an interesting way to extend storage in a way) -
Where to find flint as a new player in the multiplayer official server?
idiomcritter replied to heyjon's topic in Questions
Welcome to the forum @heyjon I too play on TOPS, and the biggest tip imho is to use the map, find a translocator (or a sequence of TL's) to hop a further distance away from spawn, where resources are a bit more plentiful Map The Offical Public Server -
not sure what the exact verbage in the logs would be? you know the day and time of your death, pull up the logs for that time period and check... (i'm guessing it will either be in the client-main or client-chat logs. although, client-audit has cords, so that)

throw them at a drifter who happens to be throwing a rock... this could be a competitive challenge(?)

I wouldn't call peat rare exactly. in temperate climates it seems plentiful, though like clay can initially be missed in sighting it different fuels for different things... personally I like peat when cooking food

What's everyone's take on sailing? How could it be improved?
idiomcritter replied to Josiah Gibbonson's topic in Discussion
the thing with sailing, is trimming the sail, to gain that added efficiency/speed... -
Hey Hi, welcome to the forums

interesting design. so the chics wander out of the coop after hatching, and then wander over to the 2 block drop trying to follow the parents into the coop? genius

lately i've been practicing elk jumping. just before a grade change up (cause down is less an issue), hit the space bar for a small hop. smooths out the ruff edge. jumping between near hills is also a way to speed through an area. there is some timing involved, with a few seconds cool down between jumps. i also try to keep the incline of stony paths 1-2 blocks up unless its an outright hill, again with jumping in mind

Chisel Block Outline Importer
idiomcritter replied to LerchJR's topic in [Legacy] Mods & Mod Development
kinda of sounds like this mod: mod auto chisel doesn't look like it was updated for the current version of VS. it is an example of what can be done another mod that tries to work with external objects Model Voxelizer get the feeling nether of these are exactly whats being looked for. within VS, vaguely recall that there was a way to export a build, that then can be pulled into any map (inport), again, not sure that is what is being looked for... -
welcome to the forum. gg, good find, useful ore that //media.invisioncic.com/r268468/emoticons/smile.png

Welcome to the forum. Sadly, can't help you with the modding platform. Have you joined the discord? there is a modding channel, might gain faster attention -

You can buy keys. If you are buying keys under an active account/email, you will receive a gift-able key. If you purchase a key using a new email address, then that email address will take the first key (from the family pack), and assign it to the new email, leaving 3 gift-able keys. Your choice on how you want to handle it in that sense, buy under a completely new email, or use your current account/email. The point has to do with how VS establishes a game account, 1 key per 1 unique email address when it comes to registering. make sense?

did not know about this folder. doing a quick search on where this folder might be, found it under: C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\VintagestoryData I became excited, that this could be a simpler way to uncover ip connection infos... sadly, no files existed under modsbyserver perhaps its because the servers I connect to, don't use mods? idk hmm...
