  1. I started breeding pigs very early (no farm mod), I was lucky. One day there were pigs at my base, which I fenced in and fed. Pig breeding was quite abundant up to generation 2. But now I have 2 generation 2 sows, they have had the status of pregnant since March, and now it's July and they are still pregnant, and they don't givte me any birth. Food they have enough.

Through listening this music https://youtu.be/U5gIr9B5-kU?t=6543 thats from BATTLE FOR WESNOTH, I got the idea, what about little, but dangerous Earthquakes, if the player did enter a cave / catacomb, even without working, even if you do nothing some earthquakes, and falling gravelstones e.g. And by the way - I love so much this music clip from Wesnoth, its free, opensource, any chance that we could put own mp3 in the musicfolder? This music is great for dark caves.
  3. Fo me the same, e.g. I use flintstone spears, knifes, shovels and axes too, flintstone-spear also don't hurt me a lot if I lost it, animals/drifters in bushes, unexplored caves.... But I have after 2 years I got a full chest with flintstones, the half I did throw away. No need for second chest of Flintstone.
  4. Another Chunk today - thats a contradiction again, Method 1 - decent Bismuth results (method 1). Method 2, around/within this first coordinate/chunk - zero, but really zero Bismuth, maybe I took 20 Node probes in this Chunk! Thats very weird, sorry. No tunnel or such, no, I made a raster search on surface in this chunk (ca 30x30)*, after I got decent results of Bismuth with method - 1. And With method I got 12 times 'No Ores Nearby' - thats made me teird. Bit much more than needed but couldn't believe it, that I got everytime ZERO ORES results by method2 .... No 40x40 because I used also prospectinfo mod. .
  5. it seems that it doesn't work with granite gravel, but it should, you can pan this kind of gravel with vanilla technique. I have lot of granite gravel, my base is surrounded from 4 massive granite mauntains / bioms. sorry it works, its bad idea to mix different sands / gravels into the hopper at the same time.
  6. Have you an idea what we could do with flint in the mid and later game? You don't need (so much) flint, maybe we could build a road/path with flintstone too (with soil + flint => road/path).

  8. Okay, so I have sealed, but can find later again, I mapped this cave again, but as sealed
  9. Is it worth exploring a cave even if the geologist's prospecting-pickaxe shows little or no ore deposits? I have just sealed 3 large cave entrances with soil so that I can't fall in, its extremely deep also and no drifters can now run out. And I did delete the cave symbol on the map.

And some mobs did hate each other - e.g. bears don't like wolves, they are in really life enemies too - maybe you are the laughing third part - 1 bear vs one wolf, bear is mostly kill the wolf. 2 Wolf vs. 1 bear wolfes will kill the bear. Bears are loners. If we have one a day werwolfes, nobody want & like them, even strongest drifters should flee / avoid werwolfes. You are in a dark forrest, dark cave, no drifters? And think you are safe? Oh now, look behind your shoulder, there is a huge Werwolf And at daylight this werwolf is a friendly Villager, maybe a Trader, a friendly Lumberjack ... e.g. and werwolfes, nobody likes them, also other hostile mobs not, they avoid him. If we have Vampires too, one day ... Vampires & Werwolves are at war, like in Underworld movies
  11. I have also an other suggestion for werwolfes, they should be friendly ncp too e.g. villager - only at daylight, but you don't wish meet them in the night.
  12. And for guns we need new resources like salpeter. But yes, first we need better Bows / Crossbows. Black powder consists on average of 75% saltpeter, 10% sulfur and 15% charcoal. Mobs with ranged attack would be also fine (like pillagers in MC). And for bullets we need lead (we have this I think). And if we have one day also werwolves e.g. as enemy also silverbullets
  13. Maybe we could upgrade the panning also into tier2 or tier3 .... Bit more sphalerite by upgrading would be nice, and no flintsone e.g. after upgrade, after upgrading. First panning are from wood, second panning from bronze, last panning from iron or silver? or kine of automatic/mechanic panning as the second or third panning.
  14. Why we need iron anvils? if we can do iron tools on bronze anvil? Or later because of steel?
  15. Sorry, I don't want made a new thread, but what about wood turning too? Maybe someone will have nice ideas, what we could to with woodturning. Windmill (later Watermill too) can give the power for a medivial wood turning maschine. Maybe with a woodturning maschine we could produce better spears, maybe better arrows (not in power, but better in flight behavior)? And nicer decorative, round woodthings, faster than only by chissel. Just an idea. For woodturning you should also use the chissel + the woodturning-maschine.
  16. nice, even with my poor 9 sources, I got 36 * 5 => 180 units. With 20% zinc => 360 units, and 70% copper => 1260 units, I can create 18 Bismuthbronze-Bars or tools.
  17. btw. I have now 36 Wismuth nuggets, what the best tool or weapon with this small amount of bismuth?
  18. I don't understand, why one chunk is declared with 1,6% Bismuth decent, and one other chunk with 1,8% => poor, method 1. And why I did get in this chunk with Bismuth 1,6% no any ores - in method 2 - contradiction, but a huge one. contradiction, but a huge one.
  19. Also for me hard to find, I used first the first method, density for my propick, density was high, 2,8% ... - I was so much happy now .... Than I took a pickaxe and I build a snake shaped tunnel and I used propick methode-2 - node, my node radius is 6, but my propick results were unfunny often very bad - I found only poor results and even areas with non scanned no-ores. I wasted a full brandnew copper pickaxe, and got only 9 bismuthinite rocks. I used methode again, the same field - now it was 2,7%. Still rich, but I don't want enhance my tunnel, or should I do that? ps. I found my first 9 bismuthinite rocks in a granite-area, oh, my granite area is so so gigant, I walked in the game-beginning 2 days, from northeast to southwest, and later also for hunting maybe 500 blocks further in each direction - I have everywhere granite. Only not far far away from my starting point, my Map - scanned a limestone mauntain area, covered a bit with basalt or slate, because some dark black fields. btw. for the tunnel building I used also the orientation of the vspprospectorinfo map, I build the tunnel from middlepoint to the outeredge, like a snail, used propick all 7 fields ... maybe 24 two times .... and I found only bad results, in contrast of method 1 and with only with happy accident 9 blocks, granite with Bismuth. but okay, now I have so much granite blocks, for streetbuilding
  20. yes, and maybe 8 days growtime to easy 96 sounds very hard. with 8 days and 10 days month, I can get 3-5x in year food from my big garden.

    thats sounds good, and Cistern construction should also be a must in arid, semi-arid areas, maybe also in wet areas, because even in humid areas you have some very hot and very dry summers. Like in Europe in 1540, 2018 and 2019 e.g.
  22. helo, this game, the very first winter was very, very, very hard for me, but now - the second winter will come soon, I see, that I have an overproduction of food - can I sell it? I did see, that one trader needs bred. But I have so much pig-flesh, onions, flax and so on .... Even two dry periods (I have very often rain, and very often rain => climatzone) but not irrigation in my garden - could not destroy a lot, I have so so much food .... Maybe this game needs rats, mices, cockroaches - and much more crop failures - harvest devatsing hailstorms. Raccoons and rabbits, have no chance destroy my garden / food, I have a fence, two blocks-height, and I did made flatland before I did build my garden.
  23. A trader wants pink-tinted-glas, thats made by rose quartz, but where I found it? Also like Quartz? Or in a special area?
  24. There are also other things, waht I don't like on the map ... white (person mark) on white snow not fine, thats true. Maybe an option to deactivate seasons-changing on the map would be fine too, I want have the map homogenus. I see "old snow" rests from the first year. It would be also fine, that stonepaths and other paths would have an other color too, you cant see roads very well on the map.
