  1. We were on 0.8.11 for Xskills, 0.8.10 for Xlib, and 0.1.22 for combat overhaul on VS 1.20.3 when I first noticed it. I kinda need to test again if this is still happening since we updated everything and are running the map on 1.20.4, but both bows and crossbows from Combat Overhaul didn't give experience on those versions. (I was hit with the library bug in Linux, so I can't test the game easily)
  2. With Combat Overhaul installed, bows don't give combat experience anymore. Can this be fixed somehow, even if manually?
  3. I see my effort to help the linux vs community is still going strong Yes, you can install through flathub where the game "just works" and updates automatically - works for most people, but not as much for the mod maniacs and whoever needs to keep a better track of their saves, installations, mods and folders. You can still do all that, it's just more annoying than just having the game working in a folder of your choice.
  4. I've been looking into how to self host VS, and all I have right now is an ubuntu server install with only console commands. Docker feels like a whole other world, and I'm still crawling with the current tool I have - probably because no user interface is involved... That said, I NEED to use zerotier to host my game - my ISP doesn't let me open ports no matter what. Can I still use docker/pterodactyl? I really don't have to redo the installation on the laptop again, I just wanna test stuff.
  5. Happy to add to the list. Just remember to add the .net backports by using sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dotnet/backports And then you can just install .net 7 via sudo apt install dotnet-runtime-7.0 Vintage Story version : 1.19.7 Stable Distro / Kernel Release : Kubuntu 24.04 / 6.8.0-31-generic (64-bit) Mono / .NET package version : .NET 7 Graphics driver version : Mesa 24.0.5-1ubuntu1 (I guess?) Works for client, mp server or both : both Installation method used : "portable", download from Client area extracted to a folder Hacks (if needed) : None
  6. Hoping this will be updated to 1.19 soon...
  7. There are two types of Vintarians. Also, wdym .NET7 isn't needed anymore?? When did this happen, and why did I have to suffer and end up making a tutorial to check your .net versions on linux??
  8. As I'm looking into hosting options, I came across Zerotier and it seems to run on raspberry pi. There are also posts that state that the older versions of the game (mono) also ran somewhat on the raspberry, at least the server did. Does anyone have a raspberry 4 with 8gb of ram to see if it makes a difference, or a raspberry 5? I have plans to get one Rpi5 eventually, but I could get it sooner if I could confirm this at least works well. (.net7, zerotier, current VS release) I only mention zerotier because it supports more than 5 people in the same network.
  9. The current versions of Vintage Story require .net7 to run. Have you been able to install it too?
  10. Cheese bread as in the Brazilian recipe "Pão de Queijo"?
  11. Seems like we can't put the breaded balls in any surface or shelves. Is that intended?
  12. Just to be sure here, we CAN'T make cheese/tofu out of soy milk, right? It's ONLY milk? (as in making "vegan" cheese in general to use on recipes) I just wanted to make cheese, and I couldn't yet because my group has no focus and I have to make a lot of food all the time. Barely any time to properly explore cooking.
  13. This is seriously more interesting than player corpse, and needs an update for 1.18.
  14. I went to check if there's anything new after the update, and it seems there isn't. But there was stuff that I still didn't translate, so...
