Has anyone else had an issue with throwing your fireclay bricks by accident? I noticed this in Pre4 and 5 and now in rc1 and 2. I'm stacking the bricks and it will just throw one occassionaly, which is probably because I slightly got off the stack maybe? This is one of those features I can live without. I never want to throw my bricks like rocks.

Now that you mention it, yes, I've accidentally thrown a few fireclay bricks lately.

Edit: In general I feel like there's something up with the game's internal tick rate (or something akin to that) as of right now, jitter in the crafting menu, slight jitter when running on stone paths, object interactions not quite registering, maybe it's all related?

It's either that, or we're all slowly turning into drifters.

I noticed as well that i sometimes throw bricks and i just stumbled upon this while browsing the changelog:

Feature: Rewrite stone throwing code into its own "CollectibleBehaviorThrowable". Allows one to make an item or block throwable with json changes only

Maybe they are related

Thanks to this thread I just learned I can throw bricks... and now I want to throw them at every blackguard I see! Malefactors rule!!

An amusing bug, if you throw a brick directly upwards it'll kind of land at the apex of the throw, and just kinda sit there in the air. They also vanish when you throw them at walls & other objects, which is rather interesting. Glad I was testing in creative and not wasting the ones I've made, haha

What'd we ever do to you? 😐 Besides eat most of the food...

Though you might try leaving a berry pie or meaty stew out for the local Blackguards, if possible, though any unspoiled food tends to work as long as it qualifies as a meal. If you keep them fed they will keep the rusty creeps away from your base.

Canonically Blackguards are the cops, Malefactors the criminals, that makes us historic rivals (plus you ate my cherry pie...that was my cherry pie...)

But, because I have a lot of respect for you as a person I'll let you pick the colour of the brick, can't say I'm a heartless beast. :D

need half bricks and also need socks

Do I spy a fellow Discworld fan in the chat?

Rincewind would be proud. Who needs a steel falx when you've got a half-brick in a sock!
