THEN YOU NEED MORE ROADS AND PATHS! More Roads introduces 3 new road types (one with five variant styles), 1 new path type, and 2 new sets of variations for existing wooden/stone paths! Make your roads POP with edge stones, bricks, and wood!Wooden Paths & Stone Foot Paths Spoiler Straight from More Wooden Paths, we have... wooden paths! Just use a saw and 2 boards to make them. Wooden edging is made with 2 boards and mortar. Stone edging is made with 12 stones in a 3x1 pattern. (No, I'm not sure why the shadows are doing that. Any help is appreciated.) Thanks to Stroam, stone paths are now included, too! All you need are rocks, absolutely no tech required whatsoever! Stone Path Variants Spoiler Inspired by (and compatible with) Stone Path Variants, the ones More Roads adds are higher contrast. Clay Roads Spoiler Clay Roads are made from clay bricks, lime, and stones. Good for making a brisk path throughout town. Clay Edging is made with clay bricks and mortar. Stone Roads Spoiler Stone Roads are made from Stone Bricks, Concrete, and stones. Concrete is a new item added by More Roads that is somewhat similar to mortar. Concrete mix is made with quicklime, clay, and stones. After that you just add the mix to a barrel and add water! Stone Roads are good for getting from one town to another. Thanks to Stroam, these come in several variants that you can cycle with by using a hammer + chisel in the crafting grid. Temporal Roads Spoiler Gotta go fast. This is a hefty recipe that uses temporal dust (Thanks to @DArkHekRoMaNT for getting this working!) to make road blocks. Getting temporal dust is simple - just grind a temporal gear in a quern. Temporal Roads not only make you move at blazing speeds, but are also self-lit. No more lampposts at night, we have magic glowing! It ain't bright, but it's still a beacon during nighttime. l33tmaan Posted December 4, 2020 Author Report Share Posted December 4, 2020 Big update! Concrete is made in barrels now, and all of the blocks have received a visual overhaul (upgrade?). Temporal blocks are now made with much less metal, too. Hopefully you didn't make any of the old ones, because those are all broken now. Sorry! l33tmaan Posted December 7, 2020 Author Report Share Posted December 7, 2020 Updated to 1.2! I've added stairs and slab variants to all the road types. Not sure how I didn't notice that before. Clay roads now require lime instead of stone paths - the paths kept crashing me when I would look them up in multiplayer. Not sure why. Stone and Temporal roads now require less stone to make. I've also added various road edgings and fixed the snow texture not appearing on blocks (I think). I don't know why there's a visual bug with the corner edge shadows, though. Temporal roads now give out 128 blocks per temporal dust, but the rest of the recipe has been drastically increased to compensate. Enjoy actually making these now! To celebrate vanilla paths now getting snowed on, these roads and edgestones now properly display snow, too! The wooden paths don't since they're just flat textures though, sorry about that. I know /gamemode 2 will make the server creative mode and then you can just spawn in the blocks you need. Everything is back to normal now, and I was able to fix my road of ??????????????????????????????? with /bir commands. Thanks for the tip on server commands @l33tmaan Also, just wanted to add that I'm using this and other mods mentioned with CompatibilityLib and have no problem with temporal dust or anything like that.
